4.4 Facilities for Extra-curricular Activities

A wide range of facilities for pursuing extra-curricularactivities are provided through the Student ActivityCentre. In addition, IRMA has facilities for sportssuch as football, cricket, badminton, and table tennis.The air-conditioned 400-seat auditorium has anexcellent audiovisual projection system, which isused regularly by the student community and byIRMA for holding a variety of programmes. UnderSPIC-MACAYmany students, staff, and faculty aremembers of this cultural organisationseveralconcerts and recitals by eminent artistes areorganised every year. While IRMA extends supportfor extra-curricular activities, the initiative fororganising these events usually comes from thestudents. The IRMA Staff Club organises various

cultural programmes, entertainment and sportsactivities, and film shows. All the PRM students areassociate members of the IRMA Staff Club. The PRMstudents represent a substantial pool of talent inmusic, drama, and dance. The students organiseseveral cultural programmes, with Jatra, the three-day student festival, being the highlight. Anotherevent organised by PRM students is Udaan, whichconsists of several business competitions andlectures by eminent personalities; it is also attendedby students from other B-schools. Terra Firma, thebiannual student magazine describing life at IRMA, ispopular among not only students but also the alumniand the larger community. 2. There may be upward revision of 5 to 7% of the tuition fee.3. Mess is managed by the students' body. Boarding and personal expenses will be over and above the mentioned
