They’ve got a Tour inspired shape and style in our most premium forged design, and we’ve packed them full of game enhancing technology like optimized turf interaction and the same grooves we put in Apex Pro Irons. Long story short, the world’s best players wanted the precision of a blade with some playability sprinkled in, and we delivered. These are a proud new addition to the Apex Family, and if you’re an elite golfer, they need to be in your bag.

Performance, Playability and Forgiveness In A Utility Iron

APEX UTOur R&D team has loaded up on technology and forged precision in the new Apex Utility Irons. The traditional long iron shape is all about performance and a level of forgiveness and playability that go way beyond what you’d expect from a forged face cavity back design. Precision, versatility, better distance gapping, and (you guessed it) forgiveness are all staples of these new additions to the Apex Family. And if you’re looking for a high technology alternative to hybrids or long irons, these are it.

FORGED FACE CUP DESIGN• This is some serious speed technology that

we’re putting into utility irons. The Forged Face Cup helps create higher ball speeds all across the face to get the distance you’re looking for out of these clubs.

SOLE WEIGHTING• Here’s where some of that “hard-to-believe”

forgiveness comes from. The sole weighting lowers the CG so that these utility irons are easier to hit and easier to launch.

TOUR INFLUENCED SHAPING AND DESIGN This is a classic look that the best players want to see, and their extensive input played a huge role in how we designed this set.

SOFT FEEL The 1025 mild carbon steel and advanced quadruple net forging creates the soft feel that better players prefer.

PROGRESSIVE CG FOR PLAYABILITY AND PRECISION Our multi-material design optimizes the Center of Gravity of each club. The longer irons (3-5) have more offset and a tungsten insert to lower CG for higher launch. The shorter irons (6-A) have a progressively higher CG for a controlled, penetrating trajectory.

PREMIUM SHAFT OFFERINGS Project X stock steel stock shaft with weight and robust flex profile to suit the better player.

For our new Apex Pro 16 Irons, we focused on our Tour players and what they like, and we relied heavily on their feedback for this forged design. DISTANCE WITH PLAYABILITY This is our first face cup in a forged players iron. We’ve taken our industry-leading Cup 360 technology that’s redefined ball speed in fairway woods, hybrids and irons, and precision engineered the face cup to give you consistent ball speed across the face in a forged Apex design.

SCORING PERFORMANCE THROUGH THE SET The progressive offset, sole widths, CG height and notch weighting provide the right balance of ball flight, playability, forgiveness and control for each iron. The longer irons feature more offset where you need it for more forgiveness, while the shorter irons have a more compact shape with less offset for feel and control.

MULTI-PIECE CONSTRUCTION This high tech construction goes through the whole set to create a remarkable combination of distance, feel and control for any player. The longer irons (3-7) utilize the Cup 360 to increase ball speeds and forgiveness across the face. In the shorter irons (8-AW), we’ve included a unique engineered face plate to enhance feel and distance control.

EXTREMELY SOFT FEEL FROM ADVANCED FORGINGWe applied an extremely precise quadruple net forging, precision milling, and 1025 mild carbon steel to produce a new standard for incredibly soft feel in a forged iron.

The new Apex CF16 Irons are precision engineered with our industry-leading, category-defining Cup 360 technology to give you exceptional, consistent ball speed across the face and playability in a forged players iron.

The progressive design creates scoring performance through the set from your long irons to your short irons.
