Mid-states Field Procurement Support ResponsibilitiesThe Mid-states Field Procurement provides acquisition/procurement support to all IRS business units located within the 12-state area of Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska, North and South Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Illinois. The office also supports the Kansas City, MO and Austin, TX campus facilities. The Mid-states service area is comprised of a population of 21,267 employees, spread out among 141 cities, in 157 posts of duty.
