1. SCOPE
1.1 This standard prescribes the requirements and the methods or sampllngand test for trichlorfon dusting powder formulations.
2. REQ.UIREMENTS
2.1 DeserlptloD- The material shall be in the form of powder. II. shallbe frcc-flowing and devoid of lumps. 2.2.1.1 The actual value of the trichlorfon content shall be calculated to two decimal places and then rounded off to one decimal placebefore applying thc tolerances as stipulated in 2.2.1.
3. PACKING AND MARKING
3.1 Packing - The material shall be packed in clean, dry containersmade of mild steel, tinplatc or fibreboard, or in double hessian bags, withouter hessian 298 Kim" and inner hessian 245 g/mt
t both of width 114'30em and bonded with lOa g/ml bitumen on each run; or in D\\· tarpaulinbags lined with kraft paper of substance 60 g!m!; or in high densitypolyethylene woven sacks.
3.1.1 When packed in any of the types of bags, they shall be providcdwith an internal puJyethylenc liner (of not less than 2JO gauge ), and inthe form of It. tubular sheath, bottom sealed. The length and breadth ofthe Ioose liner shall be 10 percent and 5 percent more respectively thanthat of the outer bag.
3.2 Markiog - The containers shall be securely closed and shall bearIf:~ibl}" and indelibly the following information in addition to the information as is nr.c:cs,''lary under the Insccticides Act, and Rules:
