Also enablement of mandated requirements beyond General Practice where general practice is essential component of mandated solution.

Enhanced GP ITTechnologies, systems & support services which enable & improve efficiency and effectiveness of general practice including primary care at scale.

Transformational Primary Care Technologies, systems & support services which enable new models of care, service integration, wider GP functions, MCP & PACS organisational models.

• Available as a module on the Primary Care Web Tool

• Restricted access NHS facing website

• Automated registration and access processes for anyone with an NHS email address.

• Stakeholders and strategic partners can seek access which will be considered under existing due diligence.

• 21,027 users including: all GP practices, CCGs and NHS England Regional Teams in England.

What this module will offer?For General Practice For CCGs For NHSE (National & Regional)

Can review progress against core GP IT requirements, as outlined in the GP IT Operating Model

Assurance that CCG meeting the requirements of the GPIT Operating Model and associated GMS/PMS/APMS requirements

Assurance that quality and value are being maintained and delivered consistently across primary care services

Can demonstrate service quality and standards in reviews with regulators e.g. CQC

Support CCGs in re-procurement of GP IT service provision via the Lead Provider Framework

Demonstrates value for money and effective use of NHS investment

Can inform federations identify areas for future collaboration and/or requiring CCG investment

Can be used as evidence within CCG Improvement and Assessment Framework reviews

A view on the quality of GP IT service provision and progress towards digital maturity across the GP IT estate

Can be used as evidence when applying for additional funds e.g. Estate and Technology Transformation Fund (ETTF)

To inform the development of Local Digital Roadmaps (LDRs) and Sustainability and Transformation Plans (STPs), helping to identify areas for further investment.

Provide an outcomes-based digital maturity assurance tool that will support CCGs, GPs and NHSE DCO/Regional Leads as promised in the GPIT Operating Model

• The data can be cut in multiple ways in order to provide different views depending on individual need.

• This helps pinpoint data pertinent to different national programmes (e.g. GP2GP) and on national objectives (e.g. Paper-free at the point of care 2020).

What do we know to date ?• National compliance with Core GP IT & Centrally Mandated

Requirements: 88.77% (With a data quality of 74.8%).

• National overall compliance: 84.86% (Data quality 63.48%)

• 95.52% of practices nationally have the EPS2 system embedded and live (Data quality 82.63%)

 • 97.67% of practices have completed their IGT to Level 2 or above

(Data quality 83.7%)
