0.1 This Indian Standard Pint Reviaion)was

adopted by the IndianStandards Institution on 4 June 1980, after the draft i n l ~by the Structural Sections Sectional Committee had been approved by the Structuraland Metals Division Council.

0.2 This standard was first published in 1966. In this revision the rangeof rail sizes has been enlarled to include some of the sections commonlyused in the indwtry.
