About

• ISCTE-IUL ACM Student Chapter is a group of undergraduate and graduated students that promotes activities.

• The activities cover various fields: computer science, software engineering, and information systems.

• All the events take place in the university campus at ISCTE-IUL in Lisbon, Portugal.

Activities

• SmartTalks (Meeting with practitioners)

• SmartClasses (Open Master Lessons)

• SmartEvents (Event with several practitioners)

Smart Talks

• SmartTalks are meetings with practitioners:

• Computer engineers; • computer scientists;• web developers;• & data scientists.

• About new trends and technologies related to information technologies.

Smart Classes

• SmartClasses are master or PhD classes open to the community;

• Specially focused in research related to information technologies:– IOT;– Cloud Computing;– Robotics.

Smart Events

• SmartEvents are events where several invited speakers participate in an event more formal than the SmartTalk.

• Some of the SmartEvents corresponds to commemorative days.

•SmartHour – an informal meeting to promote students networking.

•SmartMooc – eLearning platform and content with the purpose of supporting students in introduction to programming.
