Grand Knight’s Report - William Keenan

Think You Are Too Old for Coverage? Maybe Not

You are never too young or too old to consider purchasing life insurance. If you have a financial need for coverage, or will in the future, a permanent life insurance policy can be just the thing you need.

When you are young and presumably healthy, coverage will be very inexpensive when compared to purchasing the same policies when you are older.

If you’ve put off purchasing coverage, or you realize that you may need additional insurance, the Order may still be able to help you, even if other companies cannot. In fact, in 2012, the issue age of our permanent life insurance products was extended to age 80, and in 2014,

The month of July has been a time for admission committee meetings on various dates, 4 men, Joseph Cascio, Chuma Odiegwu, Victor Bisignani and Christopher Seymore have been voted on and approved by the council. I am now in the process of setting up their 1st degree dates. I can always have more new men. Our quota for this year is a total of 13 men which is very possible, the life blood of the council. Our next 1st degree at the council will be on September 19 at 8 P.M. With your help, we can have a successful degree showing. Always continue to carry a form 100 or the 921A card with you. If you need any support my phone is always available.

Program Director’s Report Steve Radsminski 410–663-6107

The Fraternal Year 2015-2016 has started off very well. The directors are coming up with new ideas and opportunities. I was

informed that we will become a sponsor at a Mercy High School activity. I urge all brothers and their families to come out to

support ALL of the activities that the Council sponsors and if possible to please volunteer.

We are still in need of a Culture of Life Director! This is one of the most important things that the council does. As knights,

these are issues that we feel about strongly. Please volunteer, I know the Spirit is moving you. Perhaps you have someone in

mind who may be a little shy about stepping forward, please get his name to us.

Directors are meeting on the second Monday of the month. This is a valuable forum to exchange ideas and to help overcome

difficulties. This meeting is open. Please come if you have an idea or proposed activity to share. All are welcome.

Please contact me at [email protected] or 410-663-6107.

God Bless!

the issue age of our term insurance was extended to age 70. Naturally, your health, and whether or not you smoke, will be taken into consideration, so underwriting standards for risk and age apply. But, the extensions are a great blessing for me – and it could be for you too. Now I can help members that I couldn’t help before. Are you or one of your brother knights one of those members?

Whether you’re 18 or 80, the Knights of Columbus has products that will work for you and your family. I look forward to discussing coverage with you.
