This quaint twenty-four room, all inclusive property is situated less than a mile from the

centre of Historic Bridgetown and within the Garrison area – a UNESCO World Heritage

Site. It is conveniently close to shops and restaurants. Island Inn is footsteps away from

the beach at the beautiful Carlisle Bay and will amaze you with its disarming simplicity

and old world charm. Whether you’re here alone, travelling with the family on holiday,

or passing through on business, the Island Inn Hotel offers unrivalled warmth of

atmosphere, with contemporary trappings and a true Bajan experience. Originally

constructed in 1804 as a Rum Storage facility for the British Regiment, Island Inn Hotel is

now part of the Historic Garrison Area of Barbados. The building was designated a

national treasure of Barbados.

Standard Garden / Courtyard Room: Air-conditioned rooms

consist of King bed (Twin beds on request), private bathroom

with bathtub/shower and hairdryer, telephone (international

direct dial), television (cable), alarm clock, in-room safe , iron

and ironing board, tea/coffee making facilities, beach / pool

towels & shared patio space along a main corridor. Standard

Garden rooms are located in the original historic building of the

hotel with the old exposed brick set in a rich soft stone mortar.

Standard rooms are smaller than the other room categories. Maximum occupancy 2 adults or 1

adult 1 child. Standard room size is 12’ x 18’ ((W X L)). Bathroom size 3.5 x 9.7 (W X L).

Superior Garden Room: Air-conditioned rooms consist of King

bed (Twin beds on request), private bathroom with

bathtub/shower and hairdryer, telephone (international direct

dial), television (cable), alarm clock, in-room safe , iron and

ironing board, tea/coffee making facilities, beach / pool towels

& shared patio space in main building. Superior Garden rooms

are located throughout the hotel. Three of them are located in

the original historic building (one on the garden side and two on

the courtyard side) while the other six are located in the southern block of the hotel. They have

garden or courtyard views. Maximum occupancy 3 adults or 2 adult 1 child under 12 years.

Superior Poolside Room: Air-conditioned rooms consist of King

Bed (Twin beds on request), private bathroom with

patio. Superior Poolside Rooms are located in the southern block.

They have walk out access to the hotel pool. Maximum

Beach: While the hotel is not on the beachfront, it is footsteps away (1 minute) walk

away from the beautiful beach Pebbles Beach and Carlisle Bay. Should

guests choose to enjoy the glorious sunshine on the pristine white sand

beach, it is recommended that hat and mat are taken as sun protection is

not provided. Beach Chairs, Beach Umbrellas & beach mats are available

from front desk at the rental cost of US$5.00 each per day.

Footwear is required in the restaurant at all times. Evening - elegantly

casual - full length trousers and shirts with sleeves (either short sleeves or

long sleeves) are required for gentlemen for dinner. After 6:00pm, no jeans

(this applies to both ladies and gents and includes all denim wear), no

three-quarter trousers, no shorts or cargos, no trainers, no flip-flops, no caps

or t-shirts are allowed in the restaurant.

Entertainment: Live entertainment is provided during dinner three nights per week. The

hotel is within 15 minutes of a variety of nightclubs including The Boatyard,

Harbour Lights, as well as St. Lawrence Gap which offers a myriad of

options.

the hotel and Rockley 9-hole Golf course is 10 minute drive away from hotel

Off Site Amenities: Carlisle Bay is one minute walk away Bridgetown is 10 minutes drive away,

St. Lawrence Gap is another 10 minutes and is the entertainment capital of

Barbados. The Gap features the best restaurants, bars and nightclubs on

the island. Oistins located a 15 minute drive away comes alive on Friday

evenings with a hive of entertainment activity, including music, food and

cultural showcases Supermarket, pharmacy, banks, post office and shops

are located in Worthing, a 10-minute drive from hotel. There are local shops

and petrol station with convenience store 5 minutes away from hotel

Barbados Golf course 18- hole Golf course is located 15 minutes drive from

the hotel and Rockley 9-hole Golf course is 10 minute drive away from

hotel. The hotel is approximately 7 miles and 20 minutes drive from the

Grantley Adams International Airport.

Lounge: The air-conditioned lounge is available for those moments when guests

would prefer to watch a game of football or cricket on the television with

others, enjoy a quiet game of draughts or chess. The lounge is available 24

hours and provides the ideal environment for guests to relax and unwind.

Pool: The pool is located to the rear of the property and is set against a

cascading fountain. At night the fountain lights up and magically

transforms the area. Lounge chairs are available along the pool deck for

guests to relax and enjoy a cold refreshing beverage of choice.

Rates: Includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, afternoon tea and all beverages except

specialty wines, champagne and bottled water. Rates include

Government Tax.

Restaurant: The Boardwalk Restaurant at Island Inn Hotel is renowned locally for its

sumptuous fare. Offering an eclectic blend of local and international

cuisine, our experienced chefs are sure to tantalize your taste buds. Should

guests wish to take a trip during the day or just lay by the beach, a picnic

basket can be prepared in lieu of having lunch at the hotel. 24 hours

advance notice is required.

There are five table d’hôte lunch days and two buffet lunch days (Tuesdays

and Sundays). The Boardwalk Restaurant offers the opportunity to enjoy the

best of local and Caribbean cuisine. Traditional English afternoon tea is

served from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. A variety of sandwiches, pastries and

assorted teas are available. An array of Caribbean and international

fusions are offered nightly. Wednesday and Friday nights are buffet nights,

while all other nights are table d’hôte. Dinner is served from 7:00 pm to 9:00

pm.

Weddings: It is very easy to get married in Barbados, as there is no waiting period or

minimum length of stay required. Application for a marriage license must

be made in person, by both parties, at the Ministry of Home Affairs with the

relevant documents to present to the officer. No more than 3 weddings

per week will be hosted on property or on nearby beach.

Wedding Package: Island Inn wedding package includes personalized services of a wedding

coordinator, the clergyman, administration and marriage, roundtrip

transfers to obtain the marriage license, decoration of wedding arch,

groom’s boutonnière and brides wedding bouquet, one bottle of sparkling

wine, a1-tier, 12" light sponge cake with icing,
