ISM Plato: Ms. Hannah Gettel

• ISM Plato is the new electronic agenda system to support students to organize what work they have and when it is due.

• Teachers will use the system to set classwork and homework. Teachers

will be able to identify if piece of work is a graded task – if so students can be allocated a target grade and teachers can give individual feedback through the system.

• The system is still in the roll-out phase, students are currently receiving

training on how to use the system, and teachers are starting to ensure that all their set work is registered on the system.

• Once the system is fully up and running parents will receive log in

details to be able to track their child’s homework and teacher feedback.

What the system looks like:

The IB Diploma Programme

An Overview Mme Barra / IB Coordinator

WELCOME

• Absences / tardiness / use of library space and school resources during free periods

The IB is …

• More than 141,831 IB students in 140 countries took the IB examinations in May

• More than 800 examination papers were processed in 76 languages = the largest number ever

• Over 530 Chief Examiners establish grade boundaries in each subject, enabling the IB to issue accurate results.

A few words to conclude

From Dr Siva Kumari, IB Director General:

“A growing number of reputed universities continue to appreciate DP graduates for completing our challenging program, which prepares students to be well-rounded individuals…. our students are well-prepared to succeed in post-secondary settings. And, perhaps more importantly, they’re prepared to make important and inspiring contributions to help make the world a better place.
