Summary:
Currently there is a video recording system, with a 30 camera network set at
strategic points around the city. Given the positive results of the current
system and the need to widen the network and the system capacity, the
renewal of the existing cameras has been scheduled as well as doubling the
control points with the installation of cameras in new areas of the city and the
widening of the storage capacity of the recording centre.
We understand that, with this planned new network, it will be possible to
more efficiently manage the city’s security system in a more modern way as an
essential tool to prevent crime and for the resolution of criminal facts in the
street.

5. Project Outline:
Project Description

What is intended with this project is to with a surveillance video system be
able the whole of the most important arteries of the city, in its entrance points
and connections to neighbourhoods and commercial centre. It is also
intended to cover influential zones of the main institutions of the city.
Expected Outcome of Project
The following is expected to achieve with this project:
Grant the city an updated surveillance video system as the main tool in
crime prevention and resolution.
Promote a higher security sensation for the citizenship.
Short Profile of the Key Staff who will be Undertaking the Work
The personnel will have to have knowledge of general computing and special
training in citizenship security systems.
