The Great Escape First

Israel’s Last Battle

• Ezekiel 38:11-12+15-16, “You will say, I will invade a land of unwalled villages; I will attack a peaceful and unsuspecting people-all of them living without walls and without gates and bars. I will plunder and loot and turn my hand against the resettled ruins and the people gathered from the nations, living at the center of the land.”

Last Battle From Zechariah

• Zech. 14:1, “A day of the Lord is coming when your plunder will be divided among you. I will gather all the nations to Jerusalem to fight against it; the city will be captured, the houses ransacked, and the women raped. Half of the city will go into exile, but the rest of the people will not be taken from the city.

Satan’s Jews Purged

• Isa. 20:38, “I will purge you of those who revolt and rebel against me. Although I will bring them out of the land where they are living, you they will not enter the land of Israel. Then you will know that I am the Lord.”

• Zech. 14:2b, “Half of the city will go into exile but the rest of the people will not be taken from the city.” (See Zeph. 3:11.)

Israel’s Elect Marked

• Ezekiel 9:4-6, “Go throughout the city Jerusalem and put a mark on the foreheads of those who grieve and lament over all the detestable things that are done in it. As I listened, he said to the others, ‘Follow him through the city and kill, without showing pity or compassion. Slaughter old men and young men and maidens, women and children, but do not touch anyone who has the mark. Begin at my sanctuary.’ So they began with the elders who were in front of the temple”

Jesus’ Return

• Ezekiel 39:19-20, “In my zeal and fiery wrath I declare that at that time there shall be a great earthquake in the land of Israel. The fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the beasts of the field, every creature that moves along the ground, and all the people on the face of the earth will tremble at my presence. The mountains will be overturned, the cliffs will crumble and every wall will crumble and every wall..fall”

The Great Escape

• Zech. 14:3, “Then the Lord will go out and fight against those nations, as he fights in the day of battle. On that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem, and the Mount of Olives will be split in two from east to west forming a of Judah great valley…You will flee as you fled from the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king.”

The Escape- by Ezekiel

• Ezek. 7:5-6, “Disaster! An unheard-of disaster is coming. The end has come.”

• Eze. 7:15, “All who survive and escape will be in the mountains, moaning like doves of the valleys, each because of his sins. Every hand will go limp and every knee as weak as water.”

• Eze. 7:27b, “Then they will know that I am the Lord.”

Magog Defeat- Zechariah

• Zech. 14:12-13, “This is the plague with which the Lord will strike all the nations that fought against Jerusalem: Their flesh will rot while they are still standing on their feet, their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongues will rot in their mouths.”

Jerusalem’s Shield

• Isa. 31:4b-5, so the Lord Almighty will come down to do battle on Mount Zion and on its heights. Like birds hovering overhead, the Lord Almighty will shield Jerusalem; he will shield and deliver it, he will pass over it and will rescue it.”

Rescue Israel’s Exiles

• Ezek. 34:12-13+17, “I will rescue them from all the places where they were scattered on a day of clouds and darkness. I will bring them out from the nations and gather them from the countries, and I will bring them into their own land…I will judge between one sheep and another, and between rams and goats.” (See Isa.46:4, Jer 15:19, Ezek.17-22.)

Timing of Rescue

• Jer. 30:7-9,+11, “How awful that day will be! None will be like it. It will be a time of trouble for Jacob, but he will be saved out of it…I will break the yoke of their necks…

Instead, they will serve the Lord their God and David their king, whom I will raise up for them…Though I completely destroy all the nations among which I scatter you, I will not completely destroy you.”

Deliverance-2nd Coming

• Habakkuk 3:12, “In wrath you strode through the earth and in anger you threshed the nations. You came to deliver your people.”

Israel- The Apple

• Zech. 2:7-10, “After he has honored me and has sent me against the nations that have plundered you- for whoever touches you touches the apple of his eye- I will surely raise my hand against them so that their slaves will plunder them. Then you will know that the Lord Almighty has sent me. Shout and be glad, O Daughter of Zion. For I am coming and will live among you, declares the Lord.”

Rescued Yet Unrepentant

• Isa. 64:3+7, “For when you did awesome things that we did not expect, you came down, and the mountains trembled before you... No one calls on your”.

• Amos 4:11, “You were like a burning stick snatched from the fire, yet you have not returned to me.” (See Zech. 3:2.)

• Hos. 5:15, “Then I will go back to my place until they admit their guilt.”

Rejection Past The Rapture

• Jer. 8:20, “The harvest is past, the summer has ended and we are not saved.”

• Isa. 63:19, “We are yours from of old but you have not ruled over them, they have not been called by your name.”

Grief of Earth-dwellers

Psalms 14:5-7, “There they are, overwhelmed with dread, for God is present in the company of the righteous. You evildoers frustrate the plans of the poor, but the Lord is their refuge. Oh, that salvation for Israel would come out of Zion! When the Lord restores the fortunes of his people, let Jacob rejoice and Israel be glad!” (What God longs for will happen)

Rejection Past Armageddon

• Isa. 63:1-3, “Who is this coming from Edom, from Bozrah, with his garments stained crimsom? Who is this, robed in splendor striding forward in the greatness of his strength? ‘It is I, speaking in righteousness, mighty to save.’ Why are your garments red, like those of one treading the winepress? ‘I have trodden the winepress alone.’”

Jesus’ Roar to Repentance

• Jer. 25:30, “The Lord will roar from on high…from his holy dwelling…He will shout like those who tread the grapes.”

• Hosea 11:9b-10, “For I am God, and not man-the Holy One among you. I will not come in wrath. They will follow the Lord; he will roar like a lion. When he roars, his children will come trembling from the west.” (See also Joel 3:16.)

First Roar at 2nd Coming

• Rev.10:3 states: “He gave a loud shout like the roar of a lion.”

• Isa. 31:4-5, “As a lion growls, a great lion over his prey…so the Lord Almighty will come down to do battle on Mount Zion and on its heights. Like birds hovering overhead, the Lord Almighty will shield Jerusalem.” (See Amos 1:2 and 3:8.)

The Third Day

• Hos. 6:2,11, “After two days he will revive us; on the third day he will restore us, that we may live in his presence…Also for you, Judah a harvest is appointed.”

• Zech. 3:9, “I will remove the sin of this land in a single day.”

• Isa. 66:8b, “Can a country be born in a day or a nation brought forth in a moment? Yet no sooner is Zion in labor than she gives birth…children.”

Repentance After 2nd Coming

• Ezek. 39:21-22, “I will display my glory among the nations, and all the nations will see the punishment I inflict and the hand I lay upon them. From that day forward the house of Israel will know that I am the Lord their God. And the nations will know that the people of Israel went into exile for their sin, because they were unfaithful to me. So I hid my face from them and handed them over to their enemies.”

Repentance after Purging

• Ezek. 20:38, “I will purge you of those who revolt and rebel against me. I will bring them out of the land where they are living. Yet they will not enter the land of Israel. Then you will know that I am the Lord.” (See Zech. 14:1-4.)

Intense Heat First

• Isa. 30:26, “The moon will shine like the sun, the sunlight will be seven times brighter, like the light of seven full days, when the Lord binds up the bruises of his people and heals the wounds he inflicted.”

Earth Burned, then Repentence

• Isa. 33:5,12,14,17,+22, “The Lord is exalted for he dwells on high; he will fill Zion with justice and righteousness…The peoples will be burned as if to lime…The sinners in Zion are terrified…Your eyes will see the king in his beauty …For the Lord is our judge the Lord is our lawgiver, the Lord is our king; it is he who will save us.

Repentance after Armageddon

• Zeph. 3:8b-9, “I have decided to assemble the nations, to gather the kingdoms and to pour out my wrath on them…Then will I purify the lips of peoples- that all of them may call on the name of the Lord and serve him shoulder to shoulder.”

• Joel 3:14-17, “Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision!…Then you will know that I, the Lord your God dwell in Zion”

Cleansed by Judgment

• Isa. 4:2-4, “In that day the Branch of the Lord will be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the land will be the pride and glory of the survivors in Israel. Those who are left in Zion, who remain in Jerusalem will be called holy, all who are recorded among the living in Jerusalem. The Lord will wash away the filth of the women of Zion; he will cleanse the blood-stains from Jerusalem by a spirit of judgment…of fire.”

Impurity Removed

• Zech. 13:2-5, “‘On that day, I will banish the names of the idols from the land and they will be remembered no more’, declares the Lord Almighty. ‘I will remove both the prophets and the spirit of impurity from the land’…If anyone asks him, ‘What are these wounds on your body?’ he will answer, ‘The wounds I was given at the house of my friends’”.

The Gleaning

• Jer. 6:8-9+23, “Take warning, O Jerusalem, or I will turn away from you and make your land desolate so no one can live in it. This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘Let them glean the remnant of Israel as thoroughly as a vine; pass your hand over the branches again, like one gathering grapes…they will come like men in battle formation to attack you, O Daughter of Zion.” (1st and last Babylon)

Great Mourning

• Zech. 12:10-11, “And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication. They will look on me, the one they have pierced, and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for a

Israel’s Wounds Healed

• Isa. 30:25-26, “In the day of great slaughter, when the towers fall, streams of water will flow on every high mountain and every lofty hill. The moon will shine like the sun, and the sunlight will be seven times brighter, like the light of seven full days, when the Lord binds up the bruises of his people and heals the wounds he inflicted.” (See Rev. 16:8-9 for 5th bowl judgment.)

Comfort For Israel

• Isa. 40:1-2, “Comfort, comfort my people, says your God. Speak tenderly to Jerusalem, and proclaim to her that her hard service has been completed, that her sin has been paid for, that she has received double for all her sins.”

• Ezek. 16:42, “Then my wrath against you will subside and my jealous anger will turn away from you; I will be calm and no longer angry.”

Fallen Tent Restored

• Amos 9:11, “In that day I will restore David’s fallen tent. I will repair its broken places, restore its ruins, and build it as it used to be”. (Sin fell the tent- 1Kings 2:4.)

• Acts 15:15-17, “After this I will return and rebuild David’s fallen tent. Its ruins I will rebuild…that the remnant of men may seek the Lord, and all the Gentiles who bear my name, says the Lord.”

Dead Bones Arise!

• Ezek. 37:10+12-13, “So I prophesied as he commanded me, and breath entered them; they came to life and stood up on their feet- a vast army…O my people, I am going to open your graves and bring you up from them: I will bring you back to the land of Israel. Then you my people, will know that I am the Lord, when I open your graves and bring you up from them.”

The Worm is Saved

• Isa. 41:1b,4, 9b,14,+16b, “let us meet together at the place of judgment…Who has done this and carried it through, calling forth the generations from the beginning?.. I have chosen you and have not rejected you…I am with you…Do not be afraid, O worm Jacob, O little Israel, for I myself will help you…Your Redeemer, the Holy one of Israel…rejoice in the Lord and glory in the Holy One of Israel.”

Jesus Chooses

• Isa. 14:1-2, “The Lord will have compassion on Jacob; once again he will choose Israel and will settle them in their own land. Aliens will join them and unite with the house of Jacob.”

Jesus Works Salvation

• Isa. 46:13, “I am bring my righteousness near, it is not far away; and my salvation will not be delayed. I will grant salvation to Zion, my splendor to Israel.”

• Ps. 85:6+8, “Will you not revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you?...he promises peace to his people, his saints- but let them not return to folly. Surely his salvation is near.”

Jesus’ Arm Saves

• Isa. 59:16, “The Lord looked and was displeased that there was no justice. He saw that there was no one, he was appalled that there was no one to intervene; so he own arm worked salvation for him and his own righteousness sustained him.”

Holy Spirit Enabled

• Isa. 65:1, “I revealed myself to those who did not ask for me; I was found by those who did not seek me.

• Ezek. 36:27-28, “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit in you.”

Spirit Poured Out

• Isa. 44:3, “For I will pour water on the thirsty land…I will pour out my Spirit on your offspring, and my blessings on your descendents.

• Isa. 32:15, “till the Spirit is poured upon us from on high and the desert becomes a fertile field.”

The Words Given

• Isa. 51:16, “I have put my words in your mouth and covered you with the shadow of my hand- I who set the heavens in place, who laid the foundations of the earth, and who say to Zion, ‘You are my people’” (See again Isa. 31:6.)

Jesus Forgives Them

• Jer. 50:20, “In those days, at that time, declares the Lord, search will be made for Israel’s guilt, but there will be none, and for the sins of Judah, but none will be found, for I will forgive the remnant I spare.”

• Zeph. 3:13, “The remnant of Israel will do no wrong; they will speak no lies, nor will deceit be found in their mouths.”

Jesus Redeems

• Isa. 44:21b-23, “I have made you, you are my servant; O Israel, I will not forget you. I have swept away your offenses like a cloud, your sins like the morning mist. Return to me, for I have redeemed you …for the Lord has redeemed Jacob, he displays his glory in Israel.”

• Isa. 59:20, “The Redeemer will come to Zion, to those in Jacob who repent of their sins”.

• Zech. 10:8-10, “I will signal for them and gather them in. Surely I will redeem them; they will be as numerous as before. Though I scatter them among the peoples, yet in distant lands they will remember me. They and their children will survive, and they will return.”

Jesus Saves

• Isa. 45:16-17+24b-25, “All the makers of idols will be put to shame and disgraced; they will go off into disgrace together. But Israel will be saved by the Lord with an everlasting salvation; you will never be put to shame…All who have raged against him will come to him and be put to shame. But in the Lord all the descendants of Israel will be found righteous”.

Tribulation Survivors

• Isa. 24:6, “Therefore earth’s inhabitants are burned up, and very few are left.”

• Gen. 8:21b, “Never again will I destroy all living creatures, as I have done.”

All of Israel Saved?

• Rom. 11:25b-26, “Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of Gentiles has come in. And so all Israel will be saved.”

• “come in”- “eiserrhomai”, which means arise, enter, come into (At the Rapture).

• “all” is not necessary “everyone”, as 1 Tim 4:10, as Christ was Savior to all but not all received Him.

Jews that Reject

• Rom. 10:16, “But not all the Israelites accepted the good news.” (Is so at 1st coming, then it would be consistent at 2nd).

• Rev. 3:9, “I will make those who are of the synagogue of Satan, who claim to be Jews though they are not, but are liars- I will make them come and fall down at your feet and acknowledge that I have loved you.” (Philadelphia Church after rapture).

Truth Revealed To All

• Isa. 45:14b-15, “they will trudge behind you, coming over to you in chains. They will bow down before you and plead with you, saying, ‘Surely God is with you and there is no other; there is no other god.’ Truly you are a God who hides himself, O God and Savior of Israel.”

God Did Not Reject

• Rom. 11:2,5,+11-12 “God did not reject his people, whom he foreknew…So too, at the present time there is a remnant chosen by grace…Again I ask: Did they stumble so as to fall beyond recovery? Not at all! Rather, because of their transgression, salvation has come to the Gentiles to make Israel envious…how much greater riches will their fullness bring!”

So Israel Will Be Saved

God is not done with her.
