Dear Customer, Dear bühnenSpiegel Reader,

Several months have now passed since the , but this mega trade fair event still proves tohave a great presence in our customer meetings and project work.

Judging by the reso-nance, the workplatforms displayedon our joint tradefair stand was a suc-cessful mix withmany new innovati-ons – trucks fromGSR and Bronto,track mounted fromBluelift and TCA-LiftFalcon Spider, PB

scissor platforms including the Eco series, as well as DENKA- and Europe-Lift trailers.

Direct sales and deals were part of daily business during this trade fair week. There was also a multitude of work for Lift-Manager work platform service, including many interestingspecialist discussions, and the development of business links and service agreements.

At the beginning of the trade fair, we received an extremely positive resonance to our announcementthat we are taking over the Denka stocks and rights, and will be providing the international Spare partssupply, Technical Support and a continued existence of the DENKA brand. With regard to this, we are already on the right path! The relocation to Germany was concluded in June, the stocks have been put into store via a barcode-basedparts logistics, all historical and current documents archived and the transfer of the rights and certificatesundertaken. Now we are activating the DENKA international customer and supplier contacts.

The Rothlehner Group employees are firmly behind the DENKA•LIFT project. Highly motivated commit-ment has been displayed to ensure that orderly processes exist as soon as possible for the DENKA take-over, and this has resulted in holidays being shifted or extra weekend-work being put in. Thanks to theenergetic support of the former DENKA-/Skako-Lift employees, as well as many suppliers, we are still ableto maintain our capacities for daily business.

We have increased our already existing continuous efforts for the recruitment of specialists and trainees,however we are continuing to concentrate on steady growth rather than large leaps of expansion.

With cautious optimism, we see ourselves being ableto manufacture the first DENKA•LIFT Junior 12 und DK18 in the4th quarter as autonomous Rothlehner products.

International business will also become more important for Lift-Manager as a result of their responsibili-ty for DENKA•LIFT spare parts.

The GSR E140P is the newalternative in the field ofultra-compact, truck-moun-ted aerial work platforms.Here extremely small dimen-sions are combined with animpressive working heightof almost 14 m.This new innovation will beexclusively launched at theBuehnenwiesn 2013, atPiaggio Porter.The E140P will also later be available on a pick-up vehicle.

E360PXJ

The new E360PXJ is a further development of the E320PXJ, which was intro-duced in 2011. The new model provides a working height of 36 m and a late-ral reach of 22 m. An increased cage load capacity of 320 kg is available with-out limitation in all working positions. The E360PXJ achieves an up & overoutreach of more than 20 m, with an up & over height of at least 12 mthanks to its particularly stabile double-articulated telescope arm.This new model is also best suited for challenging tree-cutting work anddifficult deployments for energy suppliers when it is alternatively instal-led onto an all-terrain 4x4 – chassis.

PB scissor working platform for aircraft maintenance

Equipped with an extensive package of special options Rothlehner delivered a PB S131-16ES LP to ISS Ground Service at the Airport Wien-Schwechat.A sophisticated sensor system assists the operator to avoid any undesired contactwhich would otherwise result in damage to the aircraft. Extra bumper as collision protection and other further options provide additionalsafety.The S131-16ES LP already has an up to 6.35 m hydraulic extendable Megadeck, a 500kg load capacity, a stabiliser system with automatic levelling and drivability at fullheight all as standard features.

New: Bronto S56XR and S65XR

The new Bronto XR series was recently presentedat the BAUMA 2013. The S56XR provides a wor-king height of 56 m and a lateral outreach of 40 m. The S65XR achieves a 65 m working heightand a 37 m lateral outreach with its additionaltelescope stage. Both of these machines areequipped with a 700 kg heavy-duty cage, newlengthened jib, with a 15 m up and over outreach,and the new independently moveable Sky-Jib™as standard features.The new XR models can be individually customi-sed to suit their intended use with an array ofwell-known special equipment from the XDTseries.

New: Bluelift R180CR

The R180CR was this year's innovation from Bluelift at the BAUMA 2013.This track mounted working platform with a 17.8 m working height hasextremely compact dimensions and thanks to the standard detachablecage, it has a minimum length of merely 3.77 m. The double-articulatedtelescope arm, with a 95° moveable jib and 2 x 90° rotatable workingcage, provides the user with excellent manoeuvrability. Its low netweight of less than 2000 kg also enables operation on sensitive and lowload-bearing ground.Different drive variations are available, including diesel, battery andhybrid solutions.

New: Europelift TM 13G

The TM13G trailer working platform is a new variant positionedbelow the TM15T, which was already presented in the last bühnen-Spiegel issue. The new model has an articulated boom with a workingheight of 13.1 m and a lateral outreach of around 6 m with a total bas-ket load of 210 kg.The simple operation, a minimal net weight of almost 1.5 t. and itscompact dimensions predestine the new TM13G for trades work andhiring.

In collaboration with Rothlehner Arbeitsbühnen, TCA-LIFT presen-ted the new version of the Falcon FS 320Z at the Bauma 2013. Theseplatforms have been extensively redeveloped and tailored to thecustomers' needs.The machine has received a new multifunction valve block and anewly patented radio remote control which changes the directionof movement depending on the orientation of the operator. Furthermore, the platform has a high-performance Kubota Dieseland battery drive. A 400V drive is optionally offered. Finn Schlitterlau, owner and CEO at TCA-LIFT, Odense says:"With this new model, we are able to offer an extremely high-per-formance 32 m machine which, with a lateral outreach of approxi-mately 16 m and an appropriate price-performance ratio, providesan attractive option for hirers and end users.“

New mini semi-trailer from

The current mini semi-trailer will be replaced in the autumn by a newvehicle from TIMA, with a loading capacity of around 7.3 t.

The product launch is planned for October, at the Bühnenwiesn. Our existing vehicle will then be on offer for sale.

This is an Iveco Daily 35C18 with a semi-trailer. Total weight 11.99 t,loading capacity approx. 6.8 t, driving license category BE.

Flooding 2013

Flood protection barriers were erected in many places in order to limitany potential damage. With the help of work platforms from one ofour Prag-based customers, the hatches were also battened down inmany Czech cities.Our admiration and respect goes to the many helpers. They shouldhowever also think about their own safety!Rothlehner Massing and Prag, as well as Lift-Manager have all madecontributions to help the victims in Bavaria, Saxony and Bohemia bymeans of various deployments of their employees, and also throughdonations of money.

"Especially the excellent value for money swung the balance of this purchase for me,at that time. And after 3 years of rental operation, I can say that our customers glad-ly keep coming back to the "little one" because it is simply so easy to operate. I thinkthat in the time we have had this machine in operation, there has been less than € 300.00 in repair costs. At minus 10 degrees in the winter, it is really the only machinewhich we can hand over without any cause for concern. As a business person, this is howI envisage a dependable machine to be."

Holger Richter is the Managing Director of Lifttec GmbHCo.KG in Hartmannsdorf, near Chemnitz. In 1997, he foun-ded Richter Elektrotechnik and 7 years later the firstDENKA•LIFT trailer was bought. Since then, the companyhas developed rapidly and several years ago then split intothe Elevating work platform and Electrical engineering divi-sions.

Lifttec GmbH & Co KG currently has 3 employees and mana-ges a fleet of 42 platforms; ranging from a 8 m mini-scissorplatform, to the 35 m truck-mounted platform.

In co-operation with Lifttec Erz GmbH, almost 20 machineshave been ordered from Rothlehner over the last years.
