The Creature

While I was laying in my roomWith dreams of imminent doomSuddenly there was a tappingComing from outside my windowThen it turned into a rappingI looked and there was nothing to show

I laid back down and shut my eyesAnd dreamt about the midnight skiesI heard another tapping that turned into a rappingI looked outside and saw these eyesBright dark redI was filled with dread

The creature came into my roomI thought that this was my doomI went to screamHoping this was a dreamBut nothing came outWhen I tried to shout

Some of the squares already have numbers in them. Your task is to fill in the blanksquares. There's only one rule: Each row, column, and box must end up containing all ofthe numbers from 1 to 9.

This rule has an important side-effect, which is the basis of all solving techniques: Eachnumber can only appear once in a row, column or box.

One day, a boy by the name of Izeak was walking around the city withhis friend Isaiah when they saw the ice cream truck stopped over onTremont Street. There was a long line of people waiting so they de-cided to go check it out and get some ice cream to see if they knew any

of the kids standing by the ice cream truck. When they got over there,Isaiah knew everyone over there except the three girls that were sittingon the porch eating their ice cream. So Isaiah asked Izeak did he knowthem. He said no, that they had just moved on the block last week. SoIsaiah was looking at them and one in particular caught his eye. Shewas beautiful with hazel eyes. So he began talking to her and sincethat day on, he knew the meaning of love at first sight.-Shaheim

Friendship is...Friendship is a relationship between two friends. I think a good friendship is when

you are comfortable with a person, comfortable enough to be able to talk to them

about whatever you want. I don t think there is such a thing as a bad friendshipbecause if someone treats you in a way you don t want to be treated, or gets you

in trouble, then they aren t your friends. Sometimes it s hard to have a good

friendship with someone if you don t trust them. Same thing when you don t like

someone, it s impossible for them to be your friend if you don t like them. My

definition of a good friend is someone that you are comfortable around, someonethat will always be there for you, someone that will never diss you, someone that

you can trust, and someone that you can love. I also think that a good friend is

someone that will always be able to understand. For example, when you talk

about your feelings with someone, if they understand your feelings that makes

them a good friend.
