Practicing content on their own will help increase stamina and reinforce the grit it takes to focus on individual

How Long Does the TSI Take? The test is not timed, so students should spend as long as possible on each problem until they’re sure of the correct answer. For math, there are approximately 20 items on the TSI placement test. Helpful Resources:

What Content is Tested on the TSI?Use this list to identify areas you struggle with and to prepare on your own for the upcoming TSI in April. Check off con-cepts you feel you have mastered, and focus on the other concepts that could be tested. Your tutor can also work with you to identify areas of weakness you can focus on at home.

1. Look up the content on khan academy or purple math to practice in more detail before the test. Use Every Second of Your Time

2. Add the content being covered on the TSI in some form, to go along with the suggested online resources.

Khan Academy https://www.khanacademy.org/

Purple Math https://www.purplemath.com/

These two websites are a free resource that help students learn and review con-tent areas for TSI-level math.
