Weekly Publication for Middle School Parents

    Dear Parents:

As the students return from their Classroom Without Walls (CWW) teambuilding trips, wehope they have forged some new friendships and developed a deeper awareness of howthey can contribute to building a stronger sense of belonging among their peers and asense of community within the grade level. Please take some time to engage your childand discuss ways that your child can build on the experience. We thank all the teachers

for their dedication and efforts to provide a range of enriching experiences for thestudents. As we continue with the school year, rest assured that the experiences andmemories will be kept alive and built upon through the Homebase program.

Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) testing continues this week until October 6. Pleasecontinue reading the bulletin for additional information which has been detailed in aseparate announcement and encourage your child to get a good nights rest and eat ahealthy breakfast.

On Thursday, September 30 starting at 7:45 A.M. there will be a Parent Coffee in the MSFaculty Area. Some of the topics that will be covered include feedback from the Freedomfrom Chemical Dependency (FCD) visit and an overview of MAP testing. We hope you willbe able to join us.
