Suggestions from the Stewardship Delegation for the Pilot Project are as follows:

• Bringing visibility of the project with wall paintings in the project villages.

• Member companies to make PPE kits available at dealer shops and issuing PPE kits to direct farmers enrolled in the project and ensuring that the kits are used for their intended purpose.

• To find space for CLI office in the village which will house project related posters, modules and provide weather updates.

Pilot Project on Responsible Use and Container Management in East Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh

I appreciate the staff of CropLife India for implementing various meetings in our village. The

staff of CropLife India are very cordial and friendly with the farmer's community. They are

conducting meetings with all types of farmers, especially the farmers who are using

pesticides regularly. The programme is very useful to the agricultural community for their

safety and security. The staff recently conducted a big meeting in which all our local leaders

and our MLA, Shri S.V.S.N Varma participated.

In this connection I thank CropLife India for selecting our village for this excellent

programme.

Thanks and Regards,

I

PM concepts which are very essential to the farmers, are being implemented by field staff of

CropLife India and are good and appreciated. Field staff of CropLife India are conducting

awareness programmes on protection measures taken while applying pesticides with

farmers at village level regularly. Farmers are also responding in a positive manner and they

frequently request the supply of protection material. It is a good programme and it is very

useful to the farmers. If possible conduct more number of awareness programmes in

different villages which may help the farmer community.

I am very happy that Croplife India selected our village for this project. Our Village farmers

are gaining knowledge on how to buy and handle pesticides. We are also learning how to

store and spray pesticides. Our village farmers have gained knowledge from the Croplife

India master trainers. We have learnt about different nozzles and using them for spraying.

We are gaining valuable information from this project
