Dear Parents:
As of this Friday, we are four weeks into the second semester, and
it’s time to reflect on student progress. For individuals who are
currently earning a C- or below, a progress report will be sent
home. If you have any questions or concerns about your child,
please contact your child’s classroom teacher or guidance
counselor.
Looking ahead…The Middle School Classroom Without Walls (CWW)
activities will get underway the week of February 14. The
teachers and students have been busily preparing for the week-
long activity and excitement has been building. Please take some
time to talk to your child about their grade level’s destination and
activities. If you have any questions about the activities, please
contact your child’s Homebase teacher.
Have a relaxing weekend and see you at Family Fun Day!

The ISM Swim team achieved very encouraging re-
sults at the IASAS Swimming Championships last
week in Kuala Lumpur. It is the first time for manyyears that both our teams did not finish 6th, our
boys finished 4th and our girls were leading JIS right
up to the final event. A huge improvement from
previous years and our freshman swimmers now
have the experience and are hungry for success
next year. In fact, they are already back in the
pool training for next year’s IASAS at Jakarta Inter-
national School.
Boys finished 4th. Girls finished a very close 6th
