From the Middle School Office Weekly Publication for Middle School Parents Dear Parents: All students should have completed their course registration for next school year. As part of the on-line registration process, your child should have brought home a prin t out of their choic es. If your child is entering grade 5, 6, 7 or 8 next year, we ask that you sign the print out to approve you r child’s cours e selection. Your child mu st then retu rn the signed sheet to his/her Homebase teacher as soon as possible. If a change is needed, please contact your child’s counselor, Ms. Van Der Merwe or Mr. St. Laurent, in MS Guidance. Friday, March 11 marks the end of the 3 rd quarter and progress reports will be distribu ted the followin g week. We strongly e ncourage yo u to check PowerSchool and discuss your child’s assignments, progress and level of achievement with them. On the afternoon of March 15 time has been set aside for Parent Teacher Conferences. If you have major concerns about your child’s progress, please plan to attend. In connection to this students will be dismissed at 12:00 P.M. and there will be no afters chool M S activities . Please make the necessary transportation arrangements so that your child is picked up promptly at 12:00 noon. More details about the conferences on the pages which follow (pages 2, 3, and 4).
