Issuing and Returning Material for Jobs

Concept

The Material Transactions page enables you to issue components from inventory to jobs, and

return components back to inventory. You can push components to specific job operations; and

issue components to satisfy negative job and schedule requirements.

In this topic, you will view use the Material Transactions page to issue and return components.

Step Action

1. Begin by navigating to the Material Transactions page.

Click the vertical scrollbar.

2. Click the WIP Material Transactions link.

3. The Material Transactions page is used to issue components from inventory to

jobs, and return

components from jobs to inventory.

Step Action

4. You can select information in any or all of these fields: Sales Order, Line,Assembly, and Job to search for records.

Click in the Job field.

Item, Subinventory, OperationSequence, Unit of Measure, and Quantity. Or
