BFT is born out of the need for innovation on inking systems in the world of flexographic printing. Since most inking systems are manual and free of washing automations, operators must adjust the speed of the pumps and remove the ink bucket manually and insert a bucket of water in the washing phase. Description of the system

INTERNAL CLEANING

Before changing the bucket, the system carries out, by means of the specific cycle, an internal cleaning of the bucket-side pipes, thus avoiding any type of contamination of the next colour. Moreover, if the system is inactive for a defined time, it automatically carries out, thanks to a special algorithm, an internal cleaning cycle to guarantee the total cleaning in view of an extended inactivity.

SOAP2CLEAN*

For periodic cleaning, or to increase the daily cleaning performance greatly, use the cleaning solution dosing function in the system. By setting the amount of cleaning solution additions on the screen, the system will automatically add the solution during the cleaning phase.

QUICK WASH

To carry out quick washes, for a job change with similar colours, and thus optimise timing without any waste, you can use the QuickWash function. The operator can select this function with a simple touch.

PULSE-FREE INKING

inking is managed by a peristaltic pump that reduces the pulsations to a minimum and a return pump to increase the ink circulation speed and avoid gelling in the doctor blade unit

INK RECOVERY

The system recovers ink from both pipes, allowing the maximum ink saving

PREWASHING AND WASHING WITH 50% WATER SAVING

Using an internal tank to store the water resulting from the last washing cycle, the system uses the same water twice in order to use half the water volume. The cycle ends with the cleaning of the circuit using clean water or solvent to avoid contamination in the subsequent printing operation

CPC

The operator can constantly monitor the pressure status

and the doctor blade chamber position thanks to the CPC

system that can be integrated in the PLC touch screens.

The system guarantees the control of the closure

in the correct position of the doctor unit, it also allows

standardising the process, memorising the pressures

used, so as to reduce the consumption of the blades.

The algorithm can independently compensate

blade wear over time.

TemperatureTemperature control is the most important variable

to standardise the characteristics of the ink being

printed. Both viscosity and Ph are temperature

functions, stabilising the temperature, the most

important variable is eliminated.

The PH control is integrated in the internal manifold

so that it is always washed during the washing phase.

The probe is easily removable for maintenance

and the PH graph can be traced and saved job after job.

Checking takes place via a pressure line and a valve

located on the return line before the ink returns

to the bucket.

T-R Ink temperature reading and traceability by means of graph sensor

T-RW Reading and use of an inspectable piston heat exchanger for the cooling. The heat exchanger can be connected both to the cooling line of the machine, if there is one, and to a new refrigerated line

T-RWC Temperature control by means of a valve acting on the exchanger, once set the desired temperature, the system will maintain it
