Computer Technician

Computer technicians: install, repair, maintain, and analyze many different types of computer equipment.

This includes everything from laptops to systems that monitor changes in the Earth’s atmosphere.

Computer Engineers

Computer engineers (or computer hardware engineers): research, design, develop, test, and oversee the manufacture and installation of computer hardware.

Computer hardware includes computer chips, circuit boards, computer systems, and related equipment such as keyboards, routers, and printers.

Software Engineer

Software engineering (SE) is concerned with developing and maintaining software systems that : behave reliably and efficiently, are affordable to develop and maintain, and satisfy all the requirements that

customers have defined for them.Continues

Software Engineer

A software engineer is a licensed professional engineer who is schooled and skilled in the application of engineering discipline to the creation of software.

A software engineer is often confused with a programmer, but the two are vastly different disciplines. While a programmer creates the codes that

make a program run, a software engineer creates the designs the programmer implements.

Software Tester Once a project reaches a certain stage of development,

your role is to ensure it works exactly as it should.

When testing a new piece of software, it'll be up to you to try as best you can to ‘break’ it!

This helps the design process and ensures a faultless program at every stage of development.

By working closely with software designers and program managers, you’ll be able to understand what the product is meant to do, its key features and its users.

Software Tester

Once you understand what the program is meant to be, you’ll then carry out tasks such as: functional testing, customer scenario testing, stress testing, performance testing, scalability testing and international testing.

Webmaster

The webmaster is the person in charge of maintaining a Web site.

The jobs of a webmaster include: writing HTML for Web pages, organizing the Web site's structure, responding to e-mails about the Web site, and keeping the site up-to-date.

Web Developer

A web developer is responsible for programming the functionality of a web site.

So while a requirements analyst is tasked with determining what a web site should do, the web developer figures out how it is going to do it and then writes the necessary programming code.

Much of this programming code is behind the scenes and not visible to the user.

However, a web developer may also be responsible for the code that the user sees..

Software Trainer

A software trainer is a type of training specialist who teaches individuals how to use computer applications or programs such as: spreadsheets, desktop publishing programs, or computer network systems software.

The nature of the job requires knowledge of computer software programs and strong communication skills.

Multimedia Artist

A multimedia artist is an artist who creates work which spans multiple media, usually with a focus on the integration of electronic media.

Specifically multi-media artists and animators use computers and other electronic media to create animation, special effects and other visual images on video and film.

They typically work in advertising, computer systems design services and motion picture and video industries.

Systems Analyst

A person who analyzes a complex process or operation in order to improve its efficiency, esp. by applying a computer system.

An individual in charge  of designing, modifying, or analyzing various systems to ensure compatibility and user effectiveness.

System analysts do not focus on hard-coding, but more on evaluating the code and making suggestions.

Systems Programmer

System programming (or systems programming) is the activity of programming system software.

The primary distinguishing characteristic of systems programming when compared to application programming is that:  application programming aims to produce software

which provides services to the user (e.g. word processor),

whereas systems programming aims to produce software which provides services to the computer hardware (e.g. disk defragmenter). It requires a greater degree of hardware awareness.
