In August, 2008 Dr. T.V.Rajini Kanth co-ordinated and conducted the

“International Conference on Multimedia” at ASTRA.

In September, 2008 CCNA and .Net Certification Programmes was

conducted.

In the month of September, 2008 our department students cricket team won

the “CHAMPIONS TROPHY 2008-2009” at TKR Engineering College.

In October, 2008 “.Net certification Programme” was Conducted.

In October, 2008 Dr T.V. RajiniKanth attended “SASTHRA” at IIT,

Madras.

In October, 2008 Dr T.V. RajiniKanth attended “TECHNOGENS” at NIT,

Staff Development Programme on “Emerging Trends

in Data Mining”. AICTE sponsored 2 weeks program

from 22nd June – 05th July 2009.

Dr. T.V Rajinikanth acted as the Resource person on

12:30 pm.

WORKSHOPS

In the year of 2009, 90 students of 3rd B. Tech trained

on CCNA course with the Association of HCL. They

qualified in HCL online exam with Sevier at NOIDA.

On 19th and 20th September, 2009 “Logitrix Robo”

workshop was conducted for 2nd Year students.

On 25th and 26th September, 2009 “ROBO LICA”

workshop was conducted for 3rd Year students.

Formalism for Handling Uncertainty in Semantic

A three days Workshop on PHP in connection with

software jobs on 19th,20th and 21st January 2010. 31

FEBRUARY 2010

Coordinated by Dr.T.V.Rajinikanth a workshop on

Media Wiki called “WIKI DAY” was conducted for all

departments with the help of IIIT-H on 6th February.

Teams of students with their projects relating to Wall

Painting ROBO, EXCAVATOR and GSM based

automatic network system control via SMS were

displayed in NEC(National Entrepreneur Cell) held

at MRCET group on 10th February 2010.

International Certification Programmes, namely, .Net( 2

batches: one,HCL,and the other, Data Point Private Limited),

CCNA Course(HCL), SCJP(SQL Star) and OCA part 2(SQL

Star), were completed in March 2010 were coordinated and

conducted by Dr.T.V.Rajinikanth.

A Research Paper was authored by Dr.T.V.Rajinikanth,

published in the journal, Data Engineering and Computer

Science, titled “GUI Based GIS Application for

construction and display of various spatial features

pertaining to Hyderabad region using Oracle Maps”. 37

In June 2010 an Infosys Technology Limited

Programme called Insight 10, Industry- Institute

Interaction (One Day Workshop) was organized by IT

AUGUST- OCTOBER ACHIEVEMENTS

TCS Prep tests were organised by Dr.T.V Rajinikanth in association with TCS

and were held on dates 31st August 2012, 01st and 2nd of September 2012.

A guest lecture on “Opportunities in Higher Education and Research at

DEAKIN University, Australia” was organised by Dr. T.V Rajinikanth in

association with Mr.Goutham Gandhi, Co-ordinator Research and

Partnership(South)-DEAKIN University

Elocution, Essay writing and five minute situational skits competitions were

held in Civil department on 10-09-12 on behalf of “Engineer’s Day” on 15th

September. Dr. T.V Rajinikanth garu was the judge for the competition held on

the occasion of “Engineer’s Day”.

II, III and IV Year students from IT dept grabbed the prizes at this competition.

TCS Placements took place for B.Tech and M.Tech students on 18-

09-12 to 21-09-12 out of which 17 students from IT dept got

placed.

IGate selections were held on 19-09-12 and 4 students from IT dept

got placed in it.

Workshop on “Hardware and Networking Concepts” was conducted

by Dr.T.V Rajinikanth garu, for Nonteaching staff under TEQIP-II

from 03rd Oct to 05th Oct 2012. Two experts sessions were given by

Dr.O.B.V Ramanaih garu Prof and Hod CSE dept, JNTUH and

Mr.G.Praveen babu garu, Assoc.Prof CSE dept, JNTUH. Mr.

Thangaru garu gave an extraordinary session on NETSIM. Ms

Kusuma, Sr faculty JETKING and Mr.A.V. Chandrashekhar
