Introduction…

Energy is one of the essential parts of our universe. We use energy to do work. Energy lights our cities. Energy powers our vehicles, trains, planes and even our helicopters. Energy warms our houses, cooks our food, plays our music, and gives us pictures on television. Energy powers machinery in factories and tractors on farms. What will you do if I tell that we are misusing it ?! What will you also do if I tell that we are running out of some of the forms of energy like Coal, Oil and Natural Gas?! People are not aware of all that and hopefully by the end of my presentation everything should be made clear!

Why Should I Save?

Everyone can make a difference by saving energy at home. When you use less energy, you save money and help protect our environment from the impacts of climate change.

Every year, we use more energy than we did the year before. In fact, the amount of energy Americans use has doubled about every 20 years.

All of that energy adds up, and much of it is wasted by using it too much or not using it wisely.

Wasting energy isn't good for the environment either. Most of the energy sources we depend on, like coal and natural gas, can't be replaced, so once we use them up, they're gone forever. Another problem is that most forms of energy can cause pollution. Which can also lead up to climate change, it can kill the environment and the animals and it can also affect us because the air we breath in will not be clean.
