ARTIGIANATO IN ITALIA

Per svolgere queste attività, nelle varie classi si è scelto un tema che fosse attinente con la tradizione artigianale della nostra regione, la Sardegna e gli argomenti svolti nelle discipline scolastiche. Svolgendo delle ricerche abbiamo scoperto che la nostra tradizione è molto ricca, e alcuni manufatti venivano realizzati usando le tante risorse presenti nel territorio. In every class we chose a topic which was not only related to the handicraft tradition of our region, Sardinia, but also to the school subjects we were working on. We researched and found out that our tradition is very rich, and some products used to be made u-

sing the many natural resources of the territory.

Con la paglia di fiume venivano fatti i cestini. Noi abbiamo li ab-biamo realizzato con la carta. With the marsh grass they used to make baskets. We have made them with paper.

L’ossidiana veniva usata anche per realizzare i gioielli. Ecco il ciondolo “Su Coccu”, un portafortuna. The obsidian was used to make also jewels. Here it is the pendant called “ Su Coccu”, it’s a lucky charm.

Abbiamo scoperto anche l’uncinetto, con il quale abbiamo deciso di realizzare ugual-mente dei gioielli: collane, bracciali e orec-chini. We have also discovered the crochet. We decided to make some jewels as well: necklaces, bracelet and earrings.

Questo è un modello di orecchini indossati dalle nostre nonne con gli abiti tradizionali. This is a model of earrings which our grandmothers used to wear with traditional

clothes.

La tessitura: con la lana, il lino e il cotone venivano realizzate co-perte, tappeti, arazzi e lenzuola. Noi abbiamo tessuto dei modelli di tappeti. The art of weaving: blankets, carpets, tapestry, sheets were made with wool, flax and cotton. We wove models of carpets.

Nella scuola dell’Infanzia i bambini hanno realizzato dei piatti utilizzan-do diverse tecniche. La pavoncella è simbolo di fertilità. Il corallo ricorda il mare. In the Infant school, pupils made some plates using different techniques. The lapwing is a symbol of fertility. The coral reminds the sea.
