HITTING

THE ROAD

RUNNING This week we hosted the BMDH

Roadshow to present an update to staff

on progress and introduce the new

Models of Care.

Twenty presenters had six minutes each

to pitch us their new model of care - the

culmination of months of work,

consultation and planning with their

colleagues and staff.

“We are moving from a local hospital

which has always served its community

well, to a major tertiary hospital for a

growing local population and a rapidly

expanding greater western Sydney,”

said BMDH Project Manager Robyn

Campbell.

“Construction on the new acute services

building will be completed next year and

it’s critical that we have new models of

care plans in place now so we can make

the changes sooner rather than later.”

Robyn said the quality of the new

models of care was testament to our

growing confidence, and staff

commitment to patient-centred care.

Congratulations to our presenters and

teams who worked so hard to map the

next stage of our expansion.

Of course there was a BBQ afterwards to

celebrate our success.

Thanks to everyone who attended.

Remember if you need more

information, check the website or

contact us.
