Do.you.think.you.know.all.the.items.that.can.be.recycled.in.our.community?.The.Parkside.Green.Team.helped.show.how.many.things.can.go.in.the.recycling.bin.in-stead.of.the.trash.can.when.they.led.special.activities.on.the.Parkside.playground.dur-ing.recess.for.national.America Recycles Day.on.November.15.... Students.were.able.to.test.their.skills.by.racing.to.sort.different.recyclables.in.the.Recycle.Relay.Toss,.and.by.throwing.bottle.caps.into.a.line.of.buckets.in.the.Bottle.Cap.Challenge.game..Students.earned.pencils.and.recycling.stickers.as.prizes,.provided.by.Keep America Beautiful.and.our.local.Bartholomew.County.Recycling.Center..Students.were.also.invited.to.sign.an.America Recycles Day.pledge.poster.to.recycle.more.this.year;.the.poster.is.hanging.on.the.windows.near.the.cafeteria.. A.big.thanks.to.the.Green.Team.for.giving.Park-side.this.opportunity.to.join.millions.of.other.Ameri-cans.at.events.across.the.country.celebrating.and.promoting the benefits of recycling!.
