TAX EXEMPTIONSKatowice City Hall offers 2 types of real estate tax exemptions.
First tax exemption is real estate tax exemption constituting regional investment aid.
This tax exemption in Katowice pertains to real estates or parts thereof used for conducting an economic
activity in two fields, i.e. services and manufacturing which are associated with implementation of a new
investment, fulfilling conditions determined in the Decree of the Council of Ministers of 5 August 2008 on
conditions for exemptions from the real estate tax and the tax on means of transport, constituting the
regional investment aid. Concurrently, one should emphasize that the tax exemption cannot be granted in
case of real estates used for conducting commercial activities.
The second type of tax exemption is concerning exemption from real property tax within the framework of
de minimis assistance.
Exemption from real property tax concerning land, as well as buildings and structures or parts thereof used
for the purpose of business activities, is granted to entities undertaking business activities in the city of
Katowice for the first time, on the basis of entries to registry of businesses or the Central Registration and
Information of Business Activities.

accident contributions, and it is paid by the Labour Office
COST REIMBURSEMENT OF FULL/PARTIAL EQUIMPENT OF A WORK STAND
the employer who has incurred costs of full or partial equipment of a work-stand for an appointed jobless person,
can apply for the reimbursement of the incurred costs up to the amount that does not exceed 600% of an average
remuneration - the amount of PLN 21.910,32
INDIVIDUAL TRAININGS
trainings for jobless persons and job - seekers to rise their own vocational and other qualifications, increasing
their chance for gaining or maintaining employment or other gainful employment - the cost of the training per
capita cannot exceed 300% of an average remuneration - PLN 10.955,16
the training scholarship will be set at the level of 120% of a dole i.e. PLN 988,40
