Telegram Service
Bosnia and HerzegovinaCommunication of 9.XI.2007:
RS Telecommunications, Joint Stock Company, Banja Luka, also known as Telekom Srpske, announces that, with immediate effect, it is providing international telegram service to and from the Republika Srpska regions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, using telegram destination indicator “BHRS”. Telegrams to other regions of Bosnia and Herzegovina should continue to be sent using telegram destination indicator “BHXX”.
Telekom Srpske will send and receive all telegrams via the switching systems of Unitel Telegram Services.
Responsibility for international rates and settlements will reside with Unitel, which will handle all accounting and settlements relating to telegram traffic to and from the Republika Srpska on a cascade accounting basis. Telegram operators are therefore kindly requested to contact Unitel directly to arrange for the provision of access and negotiate accountings rates to apply.
The List of Telegram Destination Indicators, published in accordance with ITU-T Recommendation F. 32, will be updated accordingly*.

Administrations are requested to notify ITU about their national numbering plan changes, or to give an explanation on their webpage concerning the national numbering plan as well as their contact points, so that the information, which will be made available freely to all administrations/ROAs and service providers, can be posted on the ITU-T website.
For their numbering website, or when sending their information to ITU/TSB (e-mail: [email protected]), administrations are kindly requested to use the format as explained in ITU-T Recommendation E.129. They are reminded that they will be responsible for the timely update of this information.
