Dear Reader!

We welcome you to the 1�� issue of Newsle�er of IUAA (IFTM University Alumni Associa�on). Hope that your valuable & construc�ve feedback/ sugges�ons will not only boost the morale of editorial board members but also enhance the quality of forthcoming issues of this newsle�er. IFTM University is progressing towards academic excellence due to the dedica�on of faculty members, sound administra�on as well as admirable a�empts of scholars. In this regard, we cannot ignore the valuable and significant contribu�on of our Alumni as they are associated with us in many ac�vi�es including trainings, placements, invited lectures and industrial tours etc. since a long �me.

The essen�al purpose of Newsle�er of IUAA is to inform, engage, inspire and entertain a diverse readership -- including alumni, faculty, staff, students of IFTM University, erstwhile IFTM/CET -- by presen�ng an in�mate, �mely and honest portrait of the IUAA - its people, its programs, its history, its challenges, its resources and its mission.

Editorial Board also hopes that this newsle�er will form a bridge between flowing thoughts and ar�s�c magnifica�on of our Alumni and en�re happenings of IFTM University etc. The newsle�er also highlights the achievement of dis�nguished alumni. The era of globaliza�on and New-Age technology have today coincided with a big bang and joined hands together to effect a radical reorienta�on of life & society and no less in science & technology. We witness the rapid changes occurring globally everyday. To keep pace with rapid advancement of technology domain, IFTM University has evolved into a forum of higher educa�on with a difference. We always value the �me spent with collegians in the campus and desire their next phase as Alumni to be equally rewarding for the life�me. Today, our Alumni occupy the key posi�ons in the corporate, government, academics and also as entrepreneurs. The �me has come when our Alumni, who are spread all over the world, step-up and contribute to their Alma Mater as a Think Tank.

The Higher Educa�onal Ins�tute should aim to create pla�orm for quality based educa�on, knowledge enhancement, promo�ng innova�ons and bridging the gap between academia and other stakeholders.

Change, Adapt & Refocus- is the credo of IFTM University, as we dream our students to be trend se�er. The University is commi�ed to find the hidden in them so as to develop knowledge with ethical values. Message from President

I consider it an honor to be the founder president of Alumni Associa�on of IFTM University, Moradabad which is popularly called as ‘IUAA’. Being the alumni of the first batch of BBA (1996-1999) and also star�ng my career at the Alma-Mater from July 11, 2001 to �ll

odate, I am 360 indebted to my Alma-Mater.

The main objec�ves of the IUAA are to promote close rela�ons between the University and its Alumni, promote the interest of the alumni in the affairs of the University, ensure that programmes are ini�ated and developed for the benefit of the Alumni and the University, and to assist the University in its development and pursuit of academic excellence.

The Alumni of IFTM University are spread out across the globe, holding posi�ons of eminence. I would like to appeal them to partake in the ac�vi�es of IUAA, as I am sure that the alumni can play a significant role in Ins�tu�on-building, which has been ini�ally evident in the composing of University ‘Kulgeet’ and Annual ‘Newsle�er’ of IUAA by the Alumni.

One of my first steps as an Alumni President, is to upgrade our social networking capabili�es to reach out to our members via Facebook, LinkedIn etc. and to work on pro-ac�vity of Alumni members to be engaged in future events.

I am looking forward to an ac�ve par�cipa�on from the alumni in all events of the IUAA.

1 Meet of IUAA

IUAA Newsletter

st meet of IUAA was held in auditorium of administra�ve Block, IFTM University, Moradabad. The Mee�ng of IUAA started with lamp Iligh�ng and garlanding to Maa Saraswa� followed by Sarawa� Vandana. Honorable Chancellor Shri Rajiv Kothiwal emphasized on need of strengthening of IUAA and wished all the best to the Alumni present. Honorable Chancellor narrated that the Alumni plays

vital role in the development of any ins�tu�on and appreciated the zeal and enthusiasm of Alumni present in the mee�ng.

Dr. Anuj Srivastatva, Controller of Examina�ons and President (Interim) IUAA, welcomed all the Alumni, dignitaries and all present in the Auditorium. Dr. Srivastava, also being the Alumni of 1st batch of BBA (1996-1999) stated that star�ng from 03 rooms in rented premise; IFTM has now taken its largest shape in terms of infrastructure, students’ number, courses taught, staff and facili�es etc. Mr. Sanjeev Agarwal, Registrar, stated that I have seen many of Alumni striving hard for their career but at present the successful milestone achieved by you all is really appreciable. In the mee�ng, agenda items were discussed in detail and the members ac�vely par�cipated in the discussion. The Execu�ve commi�ee of IUAA comprising of 15 members was finalized. In mee�ng, it was decided that University KULGEET will be proposed by the Alumni and for the same, interested candidates submi�ed their names to the chair. Alumni present in the mee�ng suggested to use the social media for dissemina�on of informa�on of IFTM University to its Alumni. Further, it was decided that next mee�ng of IUAA shall be held in month of October-November and preferably near holidays. 25% fee waiver to Alumni and its ward, stay facility at University guest house with zero cost, free Aroma Magazine and access to sports and library facility to Alumni were the benefits, finalized in the mee�ng. A short film regarding the journey of the University from 1996 to �ll date was projected, which was appreciated by all the dignitaries and alumni present in the auditorium. The mee�ng was ended by giving tribute to martyrs of the Na�on followed by Na�onal Anthem. During this mee�ng Mr. Abhinav Kothiwal-Member IFTM Society & Execu�ve Council, IFTM University, Mr. M.P. Pandey, Finance officer, Directors from all the Schools and media persons were present.

• Awarded as the Most Innova�ve Private University in the year 2019 by the Society of Pharmaceu�cal Educa�on & Research (SPER), Gwalior.

It was 1999 when the batch passed out amid Asian Tiger Crisis, the market was slow and job opportunities were limited, however the efforts put by IFTM, tired to come over, the personality development/ team work and thorough knowledge of the subject always kept an edge. It's almost 21 years back when we entered the institute, found people from different chapter of life, the first team work was learnt at IFTM.
