COMPETITION RULES: According to FIE and IWFC

Athletes are responsible to bring their own aprons used in Epee competition
REFEREES: Delegations are required to assign a specific number of referees to officiate at
tournament according to the following IWAS criteria:
1 to 3 fencers = No obligation
4 to 7 fencers = 1 referee
More than 7 fencers = 2 referees
Referees have to stay for the overall competition.
Delegations that do not provide a referee corresponding to above mentioned scale, will be financially
penalized (€ 1000) for each referee.
ENTRY FEE: Euro 485 per person in twin/triple room
(non-refundable) Euro 635 per person in single room
Extra Stay: Euro 115 per person (twin/triple room) per night (half-board)
Euro 175 per person (single room) per night (half-board)
Extra meal: Euro 30 per person
Fee includes:
Accommodation in twin/triple room (21-24 May, 3 nights)
Dinner from 21st May till breakfast on 24th May – lunch is served on the
competition venue only
Transportation between Pisa International Airport and official hotels
Transportation between Pisa Railway Station and official hotels
Shuttle bus service between competition venue and official hotels

Those who are interested in participating in the IWAS Wheelchair Fencing World Cup “The Leaning
Tower”, but not in using the buildings proposed by the LOC, will have to pay only the entrance fee which
amounts to Euro 200,00 (This fee includes only the registration and the lunch during the competition).
DEADLINE FOR ENTRY FEE PAYMENT: 27 MARCH 2015
(LATE FEES will apply after this date, € 555 (double room), € 705 (single room))
Please note that for all payments received after 20 April 2015, there will be a 50% penalty fee
added to the regular fee.
VERY IMPORTANT: WHEELCHAIRS AND WEAPONS CONTROL
National teams arriving on May 21st at the International Pisa airport, will do wheelchairs and
weapons control in a dedicated room at the airport. From the airport, competition wheelchairs
AND/OR fencing bags will be directly transported by the LOC at the competition venue .
National teams arriving by train or bus, and those who will come by private transports , will anyway
be able to do wheelchair and weapon control at the hotels.
