As part of an internship I was tasked to come up with sample designs for the multi-page company brochure. I had to make the brochure active and to incorporate icons into the design. I decided a filled and outlined rounded squares arrangement around the sides of the pages. With the squares I could easily fit in the icons on the later pages, and make use of the circle shape of the globe on the second page to make it stand out. And with the squares being rounded the shape difference isn’t as harsh as it could be against both the globe and the company logo

Another part of the internship was to replace four large banners dipicting the various internaitonal office locations using iconic imagery from the respective countries. In keeping with the iconic imagery, I decided to use iconic buildings of the specific countires and in some instances the buildings from the same city. The words in the background are words that describe Meridian Group as a company by their partners and clients.

This was entered into a contest for an event image for a charity acution called the Black and White Gala. There was a theme of diamonds and a gray pantone. I experimented with various dynamic lines to make shiloetes and interesting poses. I ended up with this dynamic dancing pose with both figures having a black front and gray backs surrounded by diamonds. To offset the strength of the black over the gray in the figures I reversed the grey and black in the text at the bottom.

This logo is was created as a class project while exploring the concept of figure-ground gestalt. The pirate ship is outlined by the towering wave behind it; and is tied into the text beneath it though the ends of the wave being the same as the bottom ends of the C and the S. The overall image also gives a sense of adventure with the pirate ship and the text.

This piece called Iron Words was inspired by the phrase “Iron Law”. Iron Law is term used to describe a law or a principle that is meant to be indisput-able or unavoidable. I thought about the permance of the outcomes of Iron Laws and then in succussion thought about the permance of pen ink, the permance and craft of welding, and the conviction a government offical would have to have to pass such Iron Laws. This is what I created when I tried to combine all of those ideas into one image.

This was a webiste made for a video game clan on the Xbox One. This clan primarly played a multiplayer game called Destiny, though they also played other games such as Assassin’s Creed Unity, The Division, etc. The overall design of the website emulates the formats the various games that are popular and the clan plays. An active gamer would probably recognize these games and the designs of the pages. The website is also aligned in a two part grid system of 1/3 left and 2/3 right vertical columns. The main navigation bar comes from Destiny, since this was the main game the clan plays. The intro page in the upper left is just a splash page that introduces the clan with a photomontage of the various games the clan plays. The format follows that of the Xbox One’s quick-menu. The upper right image is the about page which discusses the activties of the clan. This is presented by the ‘Ghost’ that is the guide in Destiny. The lower image is the activites page, in which the leaderboards are posted. The boxes are a set of activities in Destiny that than clan created and they are a set to see which group of people could complete which activity. This is presented by a vendor in the Destiny game.

The upper left image shows the clan roster. The names on the left are the admins with the highlighted name being the clan leader. The group of names on the right are the regular members of the clan. The format and imagery of this page is from Assassin’s Creed Unity’s menu page. The upper right image is the external links page which leads off the offical clan page on bungie.net, the youtube channel, facebook page, and twitter. The format and imagery is from The Division’s inventory/information menu. The bottom image is from a disclamer page that protected the clan from any legal action that could have occured from putting up video content. This ties the website back to Destiny and is formated from the game’s credit page.

This is a small comic strip that me and a friend created called ‘Sync and V’ (which are names of the main characters) and are about some of our expe-riences or conversations.

The top strip is about the lack of cell phone reception and the lengths Sync will go to get it, even if it is futile.-This strip was created by my inability to get cell service for a couple of hours despite moving around and my frustration at it.

The bottom strip shows that V is having trouble bringing his odd laptop charger past the baggage check at the airport.-This strip is about a conversa-tion my friend and I had about the strictness of airport security and how security is suspicious of everything that isn’t common.
