Jackie was an officer and lutenet during world war 2. Then he went and played for the Negro Leagues played for the Kanas City Monarchs and played with Satchel Paige. Then after he played with the Monarchs he sighed a contract to play with white men the montreal Roylas and the man who sighed him said I need someone who won't fight back. In 1946 he maried Rachel Isum. On April 15 1947 Jackie was the first black to play in the majors to play on the Brooklen Dogers.
