6. Kea-The kea were voted nz smartest bird.-keas are a parrot.- A keas beak is strong enough towreck a car.

7. kaka- Kaka have a brush tongue to take nectar from flowers.- Kaka use there beak as a third leg it helps them to climb trees.- Kaka like eating all kinds of berrys and seeds

8. kakapo-the kakapo is the heaviest parrot in the world.-The kakapo is flightless.-It is the only parrot that has a lek breeding system.

9. Black robin-The black robin is a small bird.-the black robin is black and has long,thin,dark legs.-females often lay 2 eggs but if a clutch then they often re-lay

10. fantail-there are about 10 speices of fantails three of them live innew zealand-the three names of the fantails that live in new zealandare the north island fantail,the south island fantail and thechatham islands fantail.

11. Bell bird-bell birds make a speical bell noise.-most bell birds are green.

12. Kiwi-The kiwi has very strong legs for burrowing and pullingapart rotten logs.-kiwis like very dark places.-kiwis are nocturnal.
