It makes sense to keep it in your vehicle, as you will needto show it to your dealer if you have to make a claim.We hope this handbook is easy to understand and explainsclearly all the benefits of your Warranty.

At Jaguar Approved Warranty Administration we aim tomake the claims procedure as simple as possible.

REPAIRS IN THE UK

Should it be necessary to make a claim under the terms ofthis warranty, simply return your vehicle to your supplyingJaguar dealer or any other Jaguar dealer. They will confirmwhether the claim and your warranty are valid and willadminister the claim on your behalf.

In the event of being unable to attend a Jaguar dealer,please contact the Administrator's claims department on0844 573 8065 for approval before any repair takesplease. (Your repairer may undertake this for you.)

On receipt of the invoice, the claim will be settled subjectto the terms and conditions of this Warranty having beenadhered to. If a balance is due, this is to be paid directly tothe repairer by the customer.

REPAIRS IN EUROPE

If it is necessary for repairs on your vehicle to becompleted in Europe you will not require authorisationfrom us.

If you need to contact Jaguar Approved WarrantyAdministration while you are abroad please telephone0044 1274 260165.

In the event that the fault is covered by this Warranty wewill reimburse the cost of repair following your return tothe UK.

We will, following receipt of the repair invoice, reimbursethe cost in pounds sterling at the prevailing rate ofexchange on the date the repair was completed, subject tothe claim being valid.

The maximum we will pay is the equivalent UK rate forlabour charges and manufacturer’s list prices for parts atthe date of your repair.

To ensure that you receive the highest levels of service, alltelephone calls made to the Administrator's claims officeare recorded.

HOW TO MAKE A WARRANTY CLAIM

All invoices should be made payable to Jaguar Land RoverLtd. All warranty claims invoices and associatedcorrespondence should be sent to:Jaguar Approved Warranty AdministrationClaims DepartmentJubilee House5 Mid Point Business ParkThornburyWest Yorkshire BD3 7AG.

Note: No payment can be made until the relevantinvoice(s) has been received and approved by theAdministrator.

All claims invoices must be received by the JaguarApproved Warranty Administration Claims Departmentwithin 30 days of the date of completion of the repairs,otherwise they may not be accepted. Claims invoicesreceived beyond this date will be subject to review interms of the reason for delay and it will be at theAdministrator’s discretion to accept such claims.

Please note that the above is in addition to your statutoryrights as a consumer.

Your Jaguar Approved Warranty covers mechanical orelectrical failure defects to all factory fitted components ofthe vehicle, and certain consequential failures asoutlined below.

MECHANICAL OR ELECTRICAL FAILURE

Mechanical or electrical failure is the sudden andunexpected failure of a component which is covered by thewarranty and which requires immediate repair orreplacement. Wear and tear or normal deterioration is notcovered under the definition of mechanical orelectrical failure.

CONSEQUENTIAL FAILURE

Should a mechanical or electrical component (coveredunder the terms of this warranty) fail and as aconsequence cause failure to a factory fitted mechanical orelectrical component on the vehicle which is not normallycovered under the terms of this warranty, we will pay thecosts of repair or replacement of such components at UKwarranty rates for labour and parts.

Under the terms of this clause, we will not pay forconsequential failure or damage to glass, paintwork,bodywork, trim, upholstery, cosmetic finishes, wheels,tyres, accessories and strikers and hinges.

WHAT JAGUAR APPROVED WARRANTY DOES

NOT COVER

• Bodywork, body seals, cosmetic finishes, glass,paintwork, trim, upholstery or weather strips.

• Batteries.

• Bulbs and fuses.

• Deterioration such as discolouration, alteration ordeforming of parts due to normal ageing.

• Electrical software updates or reprogramming*.

• Exhaust systems including Diesel Particulate Filters*(DPF).

• Faults resulting from the use of contaminated fuel orinappropriate fuel for the vehicle.

• Gradual reduction in operating performance (wear andtear) consistent with the age and mileage of thevehicle. Components that may be subject to wearinclude, but are not limited to, brake discs, drums andfrictional materials, suspension and steeringcomponents, clutch pressure plates, bearings andfrictional material.

• Hinges and strikers.

• Loss, damage or failure, which is said by a qualifiedengineer appointed by the Administrator to haveexisted before the start of this Warranty. The supplyingdealer must rectify any such pre-existing faults beforethis Warranty starts.

• Parts which have not suffered a mechanical or electricalfailure but which are replaced or reported duringroutine servicing, or repair of other non-covered partsthat have failed.

• Recharging of air conditioning unit*.

• Repairs, replacement or alterations not authorised bythe Administrator.

• Routine component adjustment and alignment.

• Service/maintenance operations and adjustments, andthe replacement of such items as, but not limited to,spark plugs, plug leads, oils, filters, lubricants, factoryfitted accessories and non-factory fitted components.

• Wheels, tyres and valves.

• Wheel balancing/alignment and adjustment*.

* Unless part of a valid claim, or required due to the failureof a covered part causing consequential damage.

Any component failure, damage or losses:

• to components not directly covered under the termsand conditions of this warranty.

• which occur while the vehicle is outside thegeographical territories detailed in this booklet.

• caused by frost, including damage where a lack orfailure of anti-freeze has been a contributory factor.

• resulting from any act or omission that is negligent oragainst the law, accident damage, misuse, neglect,overloading or abnormal use.

• which occurred as a result of any accessory beingfitted (unless the accessory is approved by themanufacturer for use on the vehicle and fittedaccording to instructions provided by the manufacturerof the accessory).

• as a result of water ingress e.g. through damaged orineffective door, window or roof seals, through doors orsunroofs left open, or caused by flood water.

• where the speedometer has been interfered with,altered, disconnected or does not work.

• which have resulted from a failure to arrange for anobvious fault to be rectified.

• liability for death, bodily injury or damage to otherproperty or any loss caused directly or indirectly bythe claim or event which gives rise to claim underthis Warranty.

• caused directly or indirectly by war, riot, revolution orany similar event or by vandalism, theft or attemptedtheft from the vehicle.

VEHICLES AND VEHICLE USES YOUR

APPROVED WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER

• Non UK registered left hand drive and GreyImport vehicles.

• Any public service vehicles such as police, fire vehicles,ambulances and military vehicles.

• Any vehicle used for hire or reward such as taxis ordriving school vehicles.

• Any vehicle with an unladen weight of more than3.5 tonne GVW.

• Any vehicle used in any sort of competition, track days,rally or racing.

MAXIMUM CLAIM LIMIT

The Company will pay both parts and labour at warrantyrate up to the sum equivalent to the purchase price ofthe vehicle:

• Any individual claim up to the purchase price ofthe vehicle.

• The sum of all claims made shall not exceed thepurchase price of the vehicle.

CAR HIRE

If you have a valid claim, you may claim reimbursement forcar hire, but not including fuel and insurance. You cannotclaim for the first 24 hours that you are without your ownvehicle. After this period, you can claim for a replacementvehicle for up to seven days.

You or your Jaguar dealer must obtain telephone approvaldirectly from the Administrator before you use this service.Any replacement vehicle must be from a bona fide hirecompany or Jaguar dealer.

OVERSEAS COVER

This warranty will cover your vehicle while it is outside theUnited Kingdom in Europe for up to 60 days in total duringthe period of warranty.

If your vehicle has a breakdown in any country, which is amember of the European Union or EFTA (European FreeTrade Association), subject to warranty cover, you will beentitled to authorise a repair by any Jaguar dealer. You willbe required to pay the full cost of repair on completionand should submit a claim for reimbursement to theAdministrator upon your return to the UK. Beforeauthorising any such repair please see details in thesection ‘How to Make a Claim’.

SERVICING REQUIREMENTS

It is a condition of this Warranty that your vehicle isserviced in accordance with the manufacturer’s guidelines.

Throughout the warranty period a franchised Jaguardealer or a VAT registered garage should carry out allservicing and repair work.

Services must be carried out within 1,000 miles/one monthof the intervals specified by the vehicle manufacturer,whichever comes first.

WARRANTY EXTENSIONS

Extensions to this warranty are available subject to termsand conditions.

Please ask your Jaguar dealer before this warranty is dueto expire and they will handle your request.

WARRANTY TRANSFER

If you sell your vehicle privately you can transfer thebenefits of this warranty to the subsequent owner or userof the vehicle. Please complete the form on pages 21 and22 of the booklet and post the complete booklet to JaguarApproved Warranty Administration.

ADDITIONAL BENEFITS OF YOUR WARRANTY

To help you understand this warranty, the conditions are setout below.

Please take time to read them.

1. Warranty Holder The Warranty Holder is the onlyperson who is entitled to make a claim underthis warranty.

2. Vehicle Any claim under this warranty must relate tothe vehicle described in the RegistrationConfirmation Letter.

3. Warranty Period The warranty period appears on theRegistration Confirmation Letter that accompaniesthis booklet.

The warranty will expire on the date or mileage shownin this letter, whichever occurs first. It should be notedthat in the absence, for whatever reason, of thestandard manufacturer's warranty period, the start dateand expiry date of this warranty will remainunchanged from that detailed in the RegistrationConfirmation Letter. Additionally, if the warranty startsearlier than the date detailed in the Confirmation Letter,because of the manufacturer’s warranty has expiredearlier on mileage, then the expiry date of this warrantyshall be earlier and reflect the period of warrantypurchased/provided.

4. Authorisation No repairs are to be commenced untilauthorised by our Administrator, unless covered by theoverseas cover, which may be authorised by theWarranty Holder.

5. Payment for RepairsWhen a franchised Jaguar dealerundertakes a repair, they will obtain prior authorisationfrom our Administrator and will invoice us the cost ofthe repair. In certain circumstances, our Administratormay authorise a repair by another dealer in the UK oryou may authorise a repair overseas. In either event,you will be required to pay the dealer on completion ofwork and may then reclaim the cost from us.

6. List Prices This warranty does not cover costs that aremore than the manufacturer’s UK warranty prices forparts and labour rates that are necessary to repair anyfailed parts.

7. Invoices to Support ClaimsWith every claim you makeyou must provide a VAT receipt from a garage, repaireror bona fide vehicle hire company. All invoices shouldbe made payable to Jaguar Land Rover Ltd.

8. Inspection of Vehicle and Parts Jaguar ApprovedWarranty Administration reserve the right to inspectthe vehicle before authorising repairs and may alsoarrange for parts to be examined by a claims assessor.You may be asked to ensure that a faulty part isretained for our inspection following a repair.

9. Repair/Replacement of Parts Jaguar ApprovedWarranty Administration's obligations under thiswarranty are limited to repairing or replacing at itsoption any part(s) which prove to be defective. Whenreplacing any defective parts genuine Jaguar partsmust be used.

10. Dismantling the Vehicle It is your responsibility toauthorise the dismantling of your vehicle. The Companywill only pay for dismantling if it is part of a valid claim.

11. Design Faults and Recalls Any damage to parts whichare being recalled by the vehicle’s manufacturer orwhich have inherent design faults are not covered bythis warranty.

12. Servicing and Service Records If you do not follow themanufacturer’s service schedules, this warranty maynot apply. When you have your vehicle serviced, youare allowed 1,000 miles either side of the specifiedservice mileage or one month either side of thespecified time period, whichever comes first. A Jaguardealer or other VAT registered garage must carry outthe service and receipts must be retained as JaguarApproved Warranty Administration are entitled tocheck the service record in the event of a claim.

13. Modifications to Vehicle If the vehicle has beenmodified in any way you must declare this prior toacceptance of the Warranty. This warranty is designedto cover vehicles built to the manufacturer’s originalspecification. If your vehicle has been modified withany non-manufacturer supplied parts that areassociated to the items covered by the warranty, wereserve the right to decline any claim (and anyconsequential damage) that may occur due to thefitting/failure of a modified part. Cosmeticmodifications are acceptable including wheels/tyresproviding they are the same size/specifications as themanufacturer’s equivalent – you may need to adviseyour accident insurer of these changes.

14. False Claims If you make a false claim, this warrantywill be cancelled and you will forfeit all benefits. Norefund will be paid in such circumstances.

15. Other Warranties and Insurance If your claim is alsocovered by any other warranty, the Company will onlypay its share of the claim.

16. Legal Proceedings Following the acceptance of anyclaim under this cover, we will have the right toconduct legal proceedings or enter into formalarbitration on your behalf. In doing so, the companyand/or their insurers will be entitled to take action inyour name. The cost of the action will be ourresponsibility, unless you have agreed in writing to analternative arrangement. We will be entitled to anycompensation and/or indemnity benefit obtainedthrough these proceedings, to the extent that theserelate to costs or potential liabilities covered by thewarranty. We will also be entitled to the costs of thisaction, if they are assigned to you.

17. Invoices All invoices for repairs should be made out toJaguar Land Rover Ltd, c/o Jaguar Approved WarrantyAdministration.

18. Administrator Jaguar Approved WarrantyAdministration is authorised by Jaguar Land Rover Ltdto act as their agents in relation to this warranty. Theymanage and administer all Jaguar ApprovedWarranty services.

19. Cancellation Rights You have the right to cancel thiswarranty within 14 days of receiving this booklet andRegistration Confirmation Letter. Should you wish tocancel within this period please contact your supplyingdealer who will arrange cancellation and a full refund.

20. Refunds Unless cancelled in accordance with thecancellation rights detailed above, in normalcircumstances no refund will be made and in nocircumstances if a claim has been made.

21. Vehicle Ownership The vehicle will not be covered bythis warranty whilst it is owned by a motor trader orgarage or associated companies or the proprietor(s) ofsuch a motor trader or garage.

22. Governing Law and Jurisdiction This contract shall begoverned by and construed in accordance with thelaws of England and Wales. Any and all disputes arisingin relation to this contract shall be submitted to theexclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

23. Statutory Rights Nothing in these conditions willreduce your statutory rights relating to faulty ormis-described goods. For further information aboutyour statutory rights contact your local authorityTrading Standards Department or CitizensAdvice Bureau.

24. Territorial Limits Cover under this Jaguar ApprovedWarranty and MOT Test Warranty may only be grantedto individuals residing, or corporate bodies registered,in the United Kingdom.

PERIOD OF WARRANTY

The warranty period appears on the RegistrationConfirmation Letter.

PERIOD OF MOT TEST WARRANTY

Each 12 month period in which the overall JaguarApproved Warranty Package is valid.

The motor vehicle referred to on the RegistrationConfirmation Letter.

Jaguar MOT Warranty covers the cost of repair,replacement and/or adjustment to the vehicle of thespecified parts listed which are covered as a directconsequence of such parts being cited in a “Notification ofrefusal to issue an MOT Certificate” (form VT30), preparedduring the period of cover, as causing the vehicle to fail itsMOT test. Accidental damage is not covered under thisMOTWarranty.

This Jaguar MOT Warranty only applies provided the MOTtest falls due and is completed during the period of coverprovided by the Warranty package. Only one Jaguar MOTWarranty claim is permissible during the duration of theJaguar Approved Warranty Package.

LAMPS, REFLECTORS AND ELECTRICAL

EQUIPMENTLamps including Xenon, High Intensity Discharge (HID),Light Emitting Diodes (LED), reflectors, indicators, bulbs,headlamp levelling and cleaning devices (when fitted forHID or LED headlamps) and Tyre Pressure MonitoringSystems (TPMS) are covered for failure due to: Breakage,discolouration, electrical failure, misalignment, wateringress, and corrosion. Failure of the horn.

Battery retaining bracket/stay/support for failure due toinsecurity (please note the battery is not a covered item).Switches, instrument panel, warning lights and wiring arespecifically excluded.

STEERING AND SUSPENSIONManual and power steering units, operation of steeringlock (where fitted), drag links, track rods/ends,transmission shafts, Constant Velocity (CV) joints andboots, shock absorbers, road springs, wishbones, anti-rollbar links, swivel joints, mountings and bushes, sub framesand wheel bearings are covered for failure due to: Wear,seizure, leakage, and insecurity. Steering wheel for cracksor fractures.

MOT TEST WARRANTY

BRAKESBrake master cylinder, wheel cylinders, calipers, discs,drums, electronic parking brake control, ElectronicStability Control (ESC) components, load compensator,Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), modulator/sensors/computers and brake pipes, hoses, cables are covered forfailure due to wear, leakage, seizure, splits/cracks,corrosion, adjustment and electrical failure. Brake frictionalmaterial is excluded.

SEAT BELTS AND SUPPLEMENTARY RESTRAINT

SYSTEM (SRS)Mountings, belts, retractors and buckles, SRS componentsincluding airbags, seat belt pre-tensioners and seat beltlimiters are covered for failure due to wear, nonfunctionand insecurity.

BODY, STRUCTURE AND GENERAL ITEMSVehicle structure is covered for corrosion. Failure due toaccident damage is specifically excluded. Enginemountings for excessive movement/insecure/fracturedor damaged.

FUEL AND EMISSIONSThrottle body, airflow meter, lambda sensor, Exhaust GasRecirculation (EGR) valve, catalytic convertor, fuel injectionElectronic Control Unit (ECU) and Diesel Particulate Filter(DPF) sensors are covered for failure to meet MOT exhaustgas emission standards (warning lights, tuning andadjustments or any damage caused by contaminated fueland/or inappropriate fuel are not covered under thissection). Fuel leaks are not covered.

DRIVERS VIEW OF THE ROADWindscreen wiper arms and blades, windscreen wipermotors, washer motors.

Unless listed above, all other components arespecifically excluded from the cover provided by thisMOT Test Warranty.

THIS MOT TEST WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER:• The MOT test and re-test fee.

• Pre-MOT repairs and faults noted as “Advisory” whichdo not fail the MOT Test.

• Any repairs, replacements or alterations not authorisedby the Administrator.

• Accidental or malicious damage or neglect.

• Any parts which have not actually failed, which arereplaced or reported during routine servicing and/orrepair of other parts which have failed.

• Actual tuning and adjustments to the fuel system.

• Any component covered by any other existingwarranties or insurances.

• Any loss to the Warranty Holder in excess of themaximum claim liability.

• Liability that would not have attached to the Companyunder any agreement or contract had that contract oragreement not been in force.

• Any liability for death, bodily injury, or damage toother property or any consequential loss ofwhatsoever nature arising directly or indirectly from theclaim or event giving rise to a claim under this MOTTest Warranty.

MAXIMUM CLAIM LIABILITY

Where liability for the cost of repairs is admitted under thisMOT Test Warranty the Warranty Holder will bereimbursed repair costs up to a maximum aggregate of£750.00 (including VAT) during each period of MOTWarranty. The first £50.00 of any claim must be paid bythe Warranty Holder.

Simply take your vehicle to the nearest or supplyingJaguar dealer and hand over:

1. This warranty booklet and your RegistrationConfirmation Letter.

2. Proof of servicing.

3. The previous valid MOT Certificate (if applicable) andthe notification of refusal to issue an MOT Certificate(VT30) citing the reasons for failure. The dealer willthen take responsibility for establishing that the partsinvolved in the repair, deemed necessary by the“Notification of refusal to issue an MOT Certificate”(VT30), are covered by this MOT Test Warranty.

The dealer will be responsible for obtaining priorauthorisation from the Jaguar Approved WarrantyAdministration Claims Department.

Important: No repair should commence until JaguarApproved Warranty Administration Claims Department hasgiven authorisation. When, and if, the vehicle is granted anMOT Certificate (VT20) the dealer will forward a copy ofa completed:

• Repair invoice.

• Old MOT Certificate and the “Notification of refusal toissue an MOT Certificate” (VT30).

No repairs are to be commenced until authorisation hasbeen given by the Administrator.

Jaguar Approved Warranty Administration ClaimsDepartment reserves the right to examine any vehicle andsubject the parts being repaired or replaced to expertassessment before commencement of any repairs. It shallbe clearly understood and agreed that in the event of anydispute arising as to the extent of the liability, the decisionof the assessor shall be final and binding on both theAdministrator and the MOT Test Warranty Holder.

Note: Claims invoices must be received by JaguarApproved Warranty Administration Claims Departmentwithin 30 days of the date of completion of the repairs,otherwise they may not be accepted. Claims invoicesreceived beyond this date will be subject to review interms of the reason for delay and it will be at theAdministrator’s discretion to accept such claims.

MOT TEST WARRANTY TERMS AND

CONDITIONS(in addition to the main warranty terms and conditions)

The Terms and Conditions of this MOT Test Warranty arestated below:

• The MOT Test Warranty is in addition to your legalrights, and does not affect your statutory rights asa consumer.

• Any exploratory dismantling charges will only bereimbursed as part of a valid claim. It is theresponsibility of the vehicle owner to authorisedismantling and to pay charges if such dismantlingproves that the failure is not covered by the MOTTest Warranty.

• The Administrator reserves the right to subject thefailed parts to expert assessment.

• If any claim is fraudulent in any respect all benefitsunder this MOT Test Warranty will be forfeited and thewarranty may be canceled without refund.

• The reimbursement for any claim under this MOT TestWarranty shall not exceed the manufacturer’s list pricesfor parts and warranty labour rates necessarily incurredin the repair of covered components up to themaximum claim liability.

• The Administrator shall not be liable for any statementor representation, written or verbal (by whomsoevermade), which contradicts the Terms and Conditions inthis MOT Test Warranty, unless such statement orrepresentation is supported in writing by theAdministrator on their behalf.

A VAT receipted invoice from your Jaguar dealer mustsupport all claims.

THIS MOT WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER:

• Any parts that have not actually failed or that arereplaced or reported during routine servicing and/orrepair of other parts which have failed.

• Neglect or wear and tear reported during the vehicle’sprevious service.

• Actual tuning or adjustments to the fuel system.

• Any component covered by any other existingwarranties or insurances.

• Any loss to the Warranty Holder in excess of themaximum claim liability.

• Accidental or malicious damage.

• Windscreen, tyres, wheels, exhaust systems, catalyticconvertors.

• All other components not listed within the ‘Coverincludes’ section on pages 17 and 18.

• Any liability for death, bodily injury, or damage to otherproperty or any losses of whatsoever nature arisingdirectly or indirectly from the claim or event giving riseto a claim under this MOT Warranty.

• The cost of MOT test, re-test and repairs notcompletedwithin 30 days of issue of the MOTCertificate Report VT30.

• Pre-MOT repairs and faults noted as “Advisory” whichdo not fail the MOT test.

If your vehicle is immobilised, Jaguar Assistance willattend your vehicle. If the problem cannot be resolved atthe roadside, we will recover your vehicle to the nearestJaguar Authorised Repairer. If the Jaguar AuthorisedRepairer cannot repair your vehicle promptly, you may beeligible for additional benefits such as car hire.

The benefits of Jaguar Assistance are available throughoutthe warranty period.

The following words and phrases are used throughout thisbooklet, and are defined as follows:

Eligible vehicle is the Jaguar vehicle that is entitled toreceive Jaguar Assistance.

Additional benefits are car hire, onward travel, hotelaccommodation, vehicle redelivery and vehiclerepatriation.

Immobilisation means that your vehicle is not driveabledue to a vehicle fault, a road traffic accident, or anincident in which the vehicle is not at fault.

Europe means the following countries – Albania, Andorra,Austria, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Belgium,Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus – North and South, CzechRepublic, Denmark (excluding the Faeroe Islands), Estonia,Finland (excluding Aland), France, Germany, Gibraltar,Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy (including Vatican City),Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxemburg, Macedonia,Malta, Monaco, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland,Portugal, Republic of Ireland, Romania, Russia (up to theborder with Asia), San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia,Spain (including the Balearic Islands and Canary Islands),Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine.

Road traffic accident is a collision involving your vehicleand another object, person or animal.

Vehicle fault means any fault covered by the warranty.

Vehicle not at fault means keys locked in vehicle, lost keys,stolen keys, incorrect fuel, running out of fuel, puncturedtyre, glass breakage, damage or destruction by fire, theftor vandalism, vehicle being kept in an unroadworthycondition, and vehicle not serviced in accordance withmanufacturer’s recommendations.

Your vehicle is a Jaguar or other make of car that iseligible to receive Jaguar Assistance.

DEFINITIONS FOR JAGUAR ASSISTANCE

ASSISTANCE CENTRE

The Assistance Centre is open all day, every day. Whetheryou’re in the UK or within Europe, you will have directaccess to trained assistance personnel who speak yourlanguage and who can arrange for the appropriateresources to be deployed.

HOME START

We will provide assistance if your vehicle is immobilised atyour home address. Our aim is to fix your vehicle and getyou on your way, if we’re unable to do this within areasonable period of time we will recover your vehicle tothe nearest Jaguar Authorised Repairer.

ROADSIDE REPAIR

We will provide assistance if your vehicle is immobilisedwhilst driving in the UK. Our aim is to fix your vehicle andget you on your way, if we’re unable to do this within areasonable period of time we will recover your vehicle tothe nearest Jaguar Authorised Repairer.

EUROPEAN ASSISTANCE

We will provide assistance if your vehicle is immobilisedwhilst driving in Europe (list of countries shown in“Definitions”). Our aim is to fix your vehicle and get youon your way, if we're unable to do this within a reasonableperiod of time we will recover your vehicle to the nearestJaguar Authorised Repairer.

ADDITIONAL BENEFITS

If your vehicle suffers a vehicle fault that cannot berepaired at the roadside and we cannot arrange for repairby the local Jaguar Authorised Repairer within areasonable period of time, you and your passengers maybe provided with an alternative means of reaching yourdestination. Depending on your circumstances, you maybe offered:

• A replacement vehicle, or

• Public transport, or

• Hotel accommodation

These additional benefits are dependent on availabilityand are provided at the discretion of Jaguar Assistance,see TERMS AND CONDITIONS.

SERVICE PROVISION

REPLACEMENT VEHICLE

A replacement vehicle will be available for up to amaximum of two working days in the UK or ten workingdays if the immobilisation occurs in Europe while yourvehicle is being repaired. Jaguar Assistance will pay fortaxi costs up to a combined total of £60 for collection anddelivery of the replacement vehicle.

Please note – The replacement vehicle is not guaranteed tobe “like for like”.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

If appropriate, instead of a replacement vehicle, we willwherever possible organise and pay for you and yourpassengers to continue your journey by second-class trainor scheduled economy air travel.

HOTEL ACCOMMODATION

If the immobilisation occurs more than 50 miles from yourhome address and overnight accommodation is a morepractical option, we will pay for the cost of hotelaccommodation for you and your passengers for onenight in the UK or seven nights if the immobilisationoccurs in Europe.

STORAGE

If your vehicle has to be stored following recovery byJaguar Assistance, we will pay for the cost of storage up toa maximum of £100.

VEHICLE COLLECTION OR REDELIVERY

Jaguar Assistance will pay for reasonable costs incurred tocollect your vehicle once it has been repaired.Alternatively, if the Jaguar Authorised Repairer is locatedmore than 50 miles from your home address, you mayelect to have the repaired vehicle delivered to your home.

VEHICLE REPATRIATION

If your vehicle has been recovered by Jaguar Assistance toa Jaguar Authorised Repairer in Europe and if the repairscannot be completed before your intended return date,we will arrange and pay for repatriation of your vehicle tothe UK.

MESSAGE SERVICE

If your journey has been delayed due to theimmobilisation of your vehicle, we can pass on urgentmessages to your family, friends or business.

ADVERSE WEATHER CONDITIONS

Please be aware that adverse weather conditions such ashigh winds, snow or floods can make some JaguarAssistance operations physically impossible until theweather improves. Our immediate priority will be to ensureyou and your passengers are taken to a place of safety andit may be necessary to attend to your vehicle later.

CARAVAN/TRAILER

If your vehicle is immobilised, we will tow your caravan ortrailer to a destination near to the appropriate JaguarAuthorised Repairer. Jaguar Assistance will not, however,be held responsible for any goods or animals beingtransported other than domestic pets.

EUROPEAN MOTORWAY/AUTOROUTE

RESTRICTIONS

On certain major roads in some European countries, youmust use the official SOS boxes at the side of the road tobe connected to the authorised assistance service andarrange for initial recovery. These roads are privatised andwe may be prevented from assisting on them.

You should contact Jaguar Assistance at the earliestopportunity so we can arrange for the most appropriateassistance once your vehicle has been recovered to aplace of safety. Costs incurred for initial recovery should beclaimed back from Jaguar Assistance.

GLASS BREAKAGE

We can on your behalf contact a Jaguar AuthorisedRepairer or approved Jaguar glass supplier, who willusually be able to supply and fit replacement glass. Youwill be liable for the cost of replacement parts andfitting charges.

HOTEL ACCOMMODATION

The maximum amount payable by Jaguar Assistance forhotel accommodation will not exceed £100 per person pernight or £150 per person per night in capital cities.

INCORRECT FUEL

If your vehicle is immobilised due to the use of incorrectfuel (or running out of fuel) and the problem cannot beresolved at the roadside, Jaguar Assistance may at itsdiscretion, recover your vehicle to the most appropriateJaguar Authorised Repairer.

LIMITED ASSISTANCE

The benefits of Jaguar Assistance are not limited tomechanical breakdown, we aim to assist in the event of anymotoring emergency.

Please note however that if your vehicle is immobilised asa result of an incident for which the vehicle is not at fault,then additional benefits will not be provided.

LOST KEYS AND KEYS LOCKED IN VEHICLE

At our discretion, we will endeavour to provide assistanceby the most practical method. However, should we beunable to gain entry to your vehicle, modern securitysystems may necessitate a forced entry. If this is the case,you will be asked to sign a declaration stating you havegiven permission for this, and that any costs for resultantdamage will be your responsibility. These costs may becovered by your motor insurance policy.

PUNCTURED TYRES

Punctures to tyres do not merit car hire or vehiclere-delivery assistance. However, if your vehicle shouldsuffer multiple punctures in one event, or your vehicle isnot equipped with a spare wheel as standard and a tyre inuse suffers dangerous tyre wall damage, extra assistancemay be required. If repairs cannot be made within areasonable period of time, the Assistance Centre willdetermine at its discretion the appropriate level of extraassistance.

RECLAIMING EXPENSES

If you have been authorised by Jaguar Assistance to payfor a covered benefit and wish to recover the costs, pleaseretain original receipts and contact Jaguar Assistance fordetails of the reclaim procedure.

RELEASE FEES

Should your vehicle be stolen or involved in a road trafficaccident and subsequently recovered by the police, youwill be liable for any release fee payable before we canremove your vehicle. These costs may be refundable underthe terms of your motor insurance policy.

REPATRIATION FROM OUTSIDE YOUR OWN

COUNTRY

You will be asked to provide Jaguar Assistance with asigned inventory of all items left in your vehicle prior torepatriation. Neither Jaguar Assistance nor its agentsaccept any liability for the subsequent loss of, or damageto, any items not declared on this inventory.

REPLACEMENT VEHICLES

A replacement vehicle will be sourced through one of themajor vehicle rental companies, (Please note – Thereplacement vehicle is not guaranteed to be “like for like”.)You may be required to enter into a contract of hire withthe rental company and you must be able to comply withtheir conditions of hire. You will be responsible for anyadditional costs including, but not limited to, fuel,congestion charges, parking fines, and speeding fines, andtoll charges. Insurance requirements stipulate you must bebetween 25 and 65 years of age. If you are under 25 or over65 we will endeavour to make alternative arrangements,but these cannot be guaranteed. Certain endorsements onyour driving licence may prejudice your eligibility to hire avehicle. A valid driving licence and a credit card deposit tocover any additional costs will be required. Please note thatwe cannot guarantee availability of vehicles withaccessories such as roof racks and tow bars.

VALIDITY OUTSIDE YOUR OWN COUNTRY

Jaguar Assistance is only available within Europe forsingle trips that do not exceed 30 days in a single trip and90 days duration in any 12 month period. It isrecommended that adequate travel insurance should betaken out in such circumstances.

VEHICLE REDELIVERY

The maximum amount payable by Jaguar Assistance forvehicle redelivery will not exceed the cost of travel.

VEHICLE REPATRIATION

The maximum amount payable by Jaguar Assistance forvehicle repatriation will not exceed the market value ofyour vehicle.

Jaguar Assistance will not pay for:

• Any expense incurred without the prior authorisation ofJaguar Assistance.

• Any expense that would have normally been payableby you, such as fuel, congestion charges, parking fines,speeding fines and toll charges.

• The cost of replacement parts, unless covered by theJaguar Approved Warranty.

• Any costs resulting from participation in motor racing,rallies, speed or duration testing.

• Any costs resulting from your vehicle being kept in anunroadworthy condition, or not being serviced inaccordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations.If, in the opinion of Jaguar Assistance, a recurring faultis due to poor maintenance, we reserve the right tolimit the assistance to recovery of your vehicle to thenearest Jaguar Authorised Repairer.

• Any costs resulting from you being under the influenceof intoxicating liquor or drugs, or from solvent abuse.

• Any consequential losses arising directly or indirectlyfrom the immobilisation.

• Any additional losses not specified within the productterms and conditions.

• Damage or injury intentionally caused by thebeneficiary or resulting from participation in a criminalact or offence.

• Any costs incurred if your vehicle is disabled by floodsor snow-affected roads, is embedded in sand or mud oris not easily accessible.

• Specialist equipment charges – if the recovery of yourvehicle requires the use of specialist equipment (forinstance, as a result of a road traffic accident, multiplewheel theft or vandalism) any costs incurred will beyour responsibility. These costs may be refundableunder the terms of your motor insurance policy.

• Costs incurred as a result of accident damage that arecovered by your motor insurance policy.

This list is not intended to be exhaustive. Whilstrecognising your consumer rights, Jaguar Assistance mayextend the list of exclusions if and when there is arequirement to do so.

The Accident Services is designed to assist you during therepair process following a road traffic accident.

In the event of an accident, to ensure that your vehicle isrepaired to Jaguar’s original manufacturing specifications,please contact the Accident Services team who will lookafter your claim from start to finish. Initially, you will beasked for details of the incident, extent of damage anddetails of any third party involved.

If the vehicle is immobilised, the vehicle will be recoveredto the Dealer or Repairer of your choice, or to the nearestJaguar Authorised Body Repair Centre to your homeaddress. Where the vehicle remains mobile, a call to themost appropriate Jaguar Authorised Body Repair Centrewill be made in order to arrange an inspection of thedamage and quotation for repair.

The Accident Services team will liaise with you, the JaguarRepair Centre and insurer to ensure that the repair processproceeds with the minimum of delay and inconvenience.In addition, if the accident was the responsibility of a thirdparty, the service will pursue claims for any UninsuredLosses or personal injury compensation.

Jaguar Accident Services are available 24 hours, sevendays per week.
