2. INTRO TO MY put them on canvas. I also My idea is to to take photography pictures and to IDEA want to process these pictures through a photo printer on canvas and enlarge the image as shown above in the left picture. MY INITIAL IDEAMy initial idea is to put pictures which I have taken on canvas such as landscapes, nature, buildings and portraits. Thursday, 15 July 2010 4. DEVELOPMENTI want to develop my idea by having quite a few canvas pictures which I have stretched instead of keeping it down to just one canvas picture, and I will have different canvas sizes to have a variety. I will take photos and maybe even videothrough some of the process of me stretching the canvas. To develop my idea even more I am thinking of taking a picture and putting parts of it on separate bits of canvas. Thursday, 15 July 2010 5. STRETCHING CANVAS Above shows the process of how to actually stretch canvas, and this is what I am goingto do when I am at this stage. It looks quite complicated but I think once I have been taught how to do it properly i will become familiar with the technique. The nal piece once it is stretched is shown on the right hand side. Thursday, 15 July 2010 6. EQUIPMENT The equipment which I need to go through the process of stretching canvas are as followed:Canvas, Scissors, Stapler, frame, printer.Thursday, 15 July 2010 7. WHERE THE PROJECT IS NOW ?The stage of the project which I am in is half way between stilltaking pictures and stretching on to canvas. In total I would like to have around 5 canvas pictures. I have already got somepictures which I took earlier on in the year which I want to stretch onto canvas. At this stage I am also nding places to takepictures as well. Thursday, 15 July 2010 8. WHAT NEXT ?After I have everything sorted out the next stage will be to add more to the idea, for example, I have an idea to have around ve different canvas pictures and make it look like one bigcanvas picture.
