Jake Bugg’s logo is in huge, bold white font over a black background. By being so dramatically bold against it’s background, the font allows the viewers of the website to clearly see his name as soon as they enter the page.

Below the huge logo is various buttons that link the viewer to a variety of different social media sites. This helps promote Jake’s work with links to sites such as youtube where the viewer can view his music videos.

On the homepage, other than the logo this music video also stands out as it is centre of the website page so the viewers see his work as soon as they enter the site. By placing the video in the centre of the screen allows the audience to be drawn instantly to this.

At the top of the page there is a menu that leads the audience to various different areas of the website. I am going to try and add something like this into my website as I feel that if the audience have more to look through, the more interested they will be to look at the work I have produced.

Above the menu is a link to yet another music video by Jake Bugg. By self-advertising on his website helps keep the viewers interested and keen. They will know if they want to see his latest work that they should go straight to his website for the latest news and music.

Another aspect of the main page of Jake’s website is his tour dates. By advertising his tour dates in the centre of his website might interest the audience into going and seeing him in concert. The poster gives details as to where the audience can get tickets from and gives a link to his website to direct his audience there to buy tickets.

Under the menu link ‘video’ There are links to Jake’s vevo page which has every music video he has ever produced. By including his various videos on the website allows Jake to self-promote his music.

There is a menu link called ‘gigs’ which shows the audience all of Jake’s tour dates giving the information when and where and allowing the audience to buy tickets direct from the website.

One of the most important aspects of a website I believe, is the store. By having a store helps to promote Jake himself and allows him to get his merchandise out to the audience. On the store there are links to clothing, accessories, outerwear and tour merchandise.
