country (and around the world) 216 Scouts and 24 leaders from Denver area

organized as 6 troops Pre-tour on the East Coast of about a week

Jamboree itself is like a super-Camporee, lasting from one Monday afternoon until the following Tuesday night

What’s Going on? Program ASMs are coordinating the pre-

trip planning process We’re planning for over 230 people

Scouts are very much part of the process Initially one “rookie” and one “veteran” Eventually, Troop ASPLs will be involved

• What are we doing?– Program ASMs met March 3rd to establish planning

framework• We set ground rules

– Basically, there are no ground rules– Scouts would be central to the planning process

• We brainstormed potential activities– We agreed to meet, with Scouts, April 21st, to set basic

• Initially one “rookie” and one “veteran” • Eventually, elected Troop ASPLs will be involved
