2 Samuel 22:31 This God—his way is perfect;

the word of the LORD proves true; he is a shield for all those who

take refuge in him.


John 6:68 Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life,

69 and we have believed, and have come to know, that you are the

Holy One of God.”


Matthew 4:4 But he answered, “It is written,

“ ‘Man shall not live by bread alone,

but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’ ”


Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of

Ecclesiastes 5:1 Guard your steps when you go to the house of God. To

draw near to listen is better than to offer the sacrifice of fools, for they do not know that they are

doing evil. 2 Be not rash with your mouth, nor let your heart be hasty

to utter a word before God, for God is in heaven and you are on

earth. Therefore let your words be few. 3 For a dream comes with

much business, and a fool’s voice with many words.

Isaiah 40:28 Have you not known? Have you not heard?

The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the

earth. He does not faint or grow weary;

his understanding is unsearchable. 29 He gives power to the faint,

and to him who has no might he increases strength.

Isaiah 40:30 Even youths shall faint and be weary,

and young men shall fall exhausted;

31 but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength;

they shall mount up with wings like eagles;

2 Peter 1:19 And we have the prophetic word more fully confirmed, to which you will do well to pay

attention as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns

and the morning star rises in your hearts, 20 knowing this first of all,

that no prophecy of Scripture comes from someone’s own

interpretation. 21 For no prophecy was ever produced by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the

Holy Spirit.

Psalm 19:7 The law of the LORD is perfect,

reviving the soul; the testimony of the LORD is sure,

making wise the simple; 8 the precepts of the LORD are

right, rejoicing the heart;

the commandment of the LORD is pure,

enlightening the eyes;

Psalm 19:9 the fear of the LORD is clean,

enduring forever; the rules of the LORD are true,

and righteous altogether. 10 More to be desired are they

than gold, even much fine gold;

sweeter also than honey and drippings of the honeycomb.

John 15:3 Already you are clean because of the word that I have

spoken to you. 4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. 5 I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever

abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart

from me you can do nothing.
