Technology and Me

Overview

My name is Jamie Leigh Reynolds.I started school in 1986 in Anaheim,

California. I graduated from high school in 1999 in

Huntington Beach, California. I first went to college at Maui Community

College in 2007.When I finish my degree, I hope to become a

middle school Social Studies teacher.

...is utilizing various technology devices in the classroom for the purpose of engaging, enhancing, and

improving the overall learning experience for students. It involves creating, mentoring,

collaborating, and gaining a greater understanding of modern technology as it applies to education.

Kindergarten technology

Used very little technology in the classroom

Televisions, tape players, and video cassettes

High school technology

Introduced to computers and the Internet

A small part of the library designated for computer use

Had a computer at home to type some major assignments

Attended computer class as an elective

Computers were expensive and laptops were rare.

College Technology

Bought my first PC computer

Learned the basics: Internet, email, downloading, browsing, research, Google scholar, EBSCO, etc.
