THE BOND OF LOVE Perhaps the simplest way to see Jesus' yoke is to realize it is not just a bond but a bond of love. It is God's Love through Jesus Christ to us. It is this bond that will sustain us, give us peace and heal our wounds. Seeing that the word yoke means a bond, gives new insight into Colossians 3:14-15 where it says: "And above all these things put on charily, which is the bond of perfectness and let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body,. and be ye thankful. " The bond of perfectness: charity . . . Agape love . . . God's Love. This is the bond, the glue, which holds us to Christ Jesus.TRANSCRIPT
