Bachelor Thesis Additions to Project
Analysis of the town, building site and building structure. This analysis included also a survey, which I un-dertook 600 people in the internet. The results of the analysis were to be presented in easy to read pictograms and polls.
6th SemesterProject: Student dorm
On an open space close to the town center and in immidiate neigh-bourhood of the university is used for a student dorm with single - 4 people apartments. The building is build ecological. The Atrium is used to pre heat air in the winter for the aeration system and most important are the solar panels in the south wich are also used as sunblindes in the summer.
6th SemesterUrbanplanning: Revitalisation
After analysing the existing structure, changes were to be made to revitalise the area. All changes were made regarding polish building law. Results were concepts for traffic flow and public green spaces.
After analysing the exsisting structure a plan for the activation of the riverbank was made. Historical bridges are re-buildt, the promenade around the river-bank is closed, the access to the river is cleared, connections are made based on vistas and single building are illuminated at nighttime.
6th SemesterLandscape architecture: Riverbank activation
Task was to creat a Café of a museum, which also serves as a bookshop and infor-mation centre. Birchlogs screen the entran-ce area and have a leading function for the visitors, which is supported by the diffrent hights of the ceiling and the illumination. The area itself is on a platform, to enter the museum one has to walk three steps downstairs. The café area is communication platform for visitors. The bookshop is like a market with lots to see and learn.
6th SemesterInterior Design: Café-Bookshop
5th SemesterProject: Art Gallery
In the centre of Nysa an art gallery was to be designed, which is destracting the view of the beautiful cathedral, yet it had to be clear that something new happend. TheThe building is plain and modern and redefines the plaza infront of the church.
The area of the Gdansk shipyard, which is well known be-cause of the solidarnosc movement in the 1980́s, was to be reused and made accessable for public. Detailed analysis of the town and the area had to be made, I decided on having a mixture of private lofts and public space in the area, with a focus on in and outdoor sports.
5th SemesterUrbanplanning: Gdanska shipyards
In this subject I learned the proper installation of water, gas, electricity and heating system. As well as how to use the natural flow of air. The house was to be made in passive house standart.standart.In addition to the house also the site was to be formed according to polish building law. In an extra written part I had to decide on all the products I wanted to use and choose suitible ones for my project.
5th SemesterBuilding installation: Single Family House
Every student had to choose an architect as their role model and analyse his/her style and afterwards design a room in this style as well as making a model.
4th SemesterInterior Design: Imitating „Eames“ Style
Task was to design a multifuntional hall, which can be used for sports, hired for big events and offer rooms for a mobile nursing service

InternshipsMofo Architeci, KMW Architekten
At Mofo Architeci I participated in the pro-ject ‚Browar Lubicz‘ for three months. An old brewery was revitalised, consisting of three existing buildings and seven newly planned buildings. The project ‚Browar Lubicz‘ was a mix of residential and com-mercial use.
At KMW Architecten I parti-cipated in a project of the new home for asylum see-kers. It was a complete new building. The building consisted of rooms for a number of 2 - 4 people with shared bathrooms and kit-chens. I worked in this pro-ject only for one month as a short term intern.
