Dating back to the final game of last year, Thompson has double-doubles in 12 straight games, the second-longest streak in Auburn history. In Georgia’s lone contest this week, the Lawrenceville, Ga., native came off the bench to go a perfect 3-for-3 from the field and 4-for-5 at the free- throw line as she finished with 10 points and 10 rebounds in 18 minutes of action against ECU. Half of her points came in the fourth quarter after she brought down seven of her 10 boards in the third period alone. It marked the second-straight game she has hauled in a career-best 10 rebounds. As her minutes continue to increase, Nichol- son currently leads the Lady Bulldogs, hitting 68.6 percent (24-of-35) from the field in 12 total games played this year. ICYMI: • Auburn senior Daisa Alexander scored her 1,000th ca- reer point as the Tigers closed out non-conference play with a 62-53 win over Jacksonville State Saturday. • Lady Vol freshman Jessie Rennie connected on five of seven attempts from the three-point arc to tie UT’s season high for threes in a game. • Lavender Briggs continued to build on her fast start to her freshman campaign, adding her 11th-straight double- figure scoring game, the longest streak by a Florida player since the 2006-07 season. The Southeastern Conference Women’s Basketball Tournament will be played for the fourth time in Greenville, S.C. when Bon Secours Wellness Arena plays host to the 2020 event. The Bon Secours Wellness Arena is a state-of-the-art 15,000 seat sports and entertainment venue. The Arena was opened on September 13, 1998 and has hosted award winning musical acts as well as events such as WWE and Disney on Ice. In the fall of 2012, the Greenville City and Greenville County Councils approved funding of $13.1 million for renovations to the Arena. In June of 2013, the first of a three year renovation project began with phase two starting in June of 2014. Beginning with its inception and through 1986, the tournament was held at campus sites. The tournament was then sent to Albany, Ga., which served as the site for six years from 1987-92. The tournament then moved to Chattanooga, Tenn., where it was held from 1993-2000, with the exception of 1998 when the tournament moved to Columbus, Ga.Since 2001 the tournament has enjoyed many new sites, including Memphis (2001), Nashville (2002, 2004, 2008, 2011, 2012, 2018), Little Rock, Ark. (2003, 2006, 2009, 2015), Greenville, S.C. (2005, 2017, 2018, 2019), Duluth, Ga. (2007, 2010, 2013, 2014) and Jacksonville, Fla. (2016). The winner of the 13-game tournament will receive the league’s automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. The tournament seeds and conference champion will be determined by the 16-game regular-season SEC schedule. The 2020 SEC Women’s Basketball Tournament will once again enjoy live television coverage. The SEC Network will televise all first, second and third round games. The semifinals will be aired on ESPNU for the sixth consecutive year, while the championship game will be televised on ESPN2. The event has helped set the stage for SEC teams

in the NCAA Tournament, as 30 of the conference tournament champions have advanced to at least the Sweet 16. Three of the last 13 SEC Tournament champions have gone on to win the national championship. The SEC Tournament Champion has failed to win at least one NCAA Tournament game only twice. Tennessee leads the league with 17 SEC Tournament titles. Vanderbilt is second with six, while Auburn, Georgia, and South Carolina each have four. LSU has two with Kentucky, Mississippi State and Texas A&M having each won one SEC Tournament championship.

SEC Tournament Tie-Break Procedures Teams will be seeded No. 1 through No. 14 in the SEC Women’s Basketball Tournament bracket based upon the final regular season Conference standings. Teams that finished No. 1 through No. 4 in the final regular season standings shall receive first- and second-round byes and teams that finish No. 5 through No. 10 will receive first-round byes.

1. Two-Team Tie: The following procedure will be used in the following order until the tie is broken: A) Won-lost results of head-to-head competition

between the two teams. B) Won-lost record of the two teams versus the No.

1 seed (and proceeding through the No. 14 seed, if necessary).

C) Coin flip by the Commissioner.

2. Three-Team Tie (or more): Won-lost record of the two teams versus the No. 1 seed (and proceeding through the No. 14 seed, if necessary). A) Best winning percentage of games played

among the tied teams (Example: Team A is 3-1, Team B is 2-2 and Team C is 1-3 – Team A would be seeded highest, Team B second-highest and Team C lowest of the three).

B) Best winning percentage of the tied teams versus the No. 1 seed (and proceeding through the No. 14 seed, if necessary).

C) If two teams remain, coin flip by the Commissioner.

D) If three or more teams remain, draw by the Commissioner.

For the purpose of seeding, if an institution is pre-cluded from participating in the tournament, such institution will automatically be seeded last. The No. 11 seed will then receive a bye. However, for the purpose of breaking ties, that team will remain where it finished in the regular-season standings BEFORE being seeded last.
