Name Change: Kemps Seafood House
Is Now
Louie & Charlie’s The owner’s of Kemps Seafood House has changed the name to Louie & Charlie’s Green Grass & Blue Sky Grille & Tavern. The ownership is the same and they now have an updated menu.
January 17 Louie & Charlie’s Jeff Newhouse, President of Quality Construction Products will do a
presentation on Introduction To Sika Industrial Flooring Systems. Social starts at 6:30 PM.
2013 PCEA National Convention
Crowne Plaza Hotel Jacksonville, FL
The 2013 PCEA National Convention will be held at the Crowne Plaza
Hotel on The Jacksonville Riverfront from May 1 through May 4. The
PCEA Orlando Chapter will be hosting this year’s convention and are
working hard to make it a great convention. The call to convention and
registration forms will be coming out in early 2013.

Scholarship Tournament The board is working on a Golf Tournament for April under the leadership of Jason Graham, more details to come.

NC Construction News Incoming North Carolina Governor Pat McCrory said his top priorities include changing the state’s tax system. McCrory believes that the present NC corporate and personal income tax rates are holding back recovery from the Great Recession because they make the state less attractive to business executives seeking to create jobs. Governor McCrory was sworn into office on Saturday January 12. Governor McCrory supports vocational education and working with business leaders to make the sate more competitive in the business marketplace.
