As the Hydra Avenue handover becomes imminent, our team has been working hard to ensure that residents will enjoy a smooth handover. It is with great pleasure that I announce the assignment of Three60 Communities as the property and facilities management company for Hydra Avenue Towers – City of Lights. Three60 Communities brings with it a wealth of expertise and professional depth from their experience managing Reem Island. With this affiliation we hope to achieve the best possible handover process for our customers and give them the best service available to settle into their homes in Hydra Avenue.

Hydra Avenue Towers comprises six towers, each up to 29 storeys high. The towers are grouped in two clusters of three and will stand as a complex of buildings in the City of Lights development. The six towers are designed over a five-floor podium that houses a wide range of restaurants, shops, as well as facilities and amenities.

Well connected, the towers have easy access to Abu Dhabi International Airport, which is 20 minutes away, most of Abu Dhabi’s malls, as well as supermarkets, cinemas and banks.

Local Amenities

Shopping Malls Hydra Avenue Towers is in close proximity to a number of Abu Dhabi’s shopping centres including Marina Mall, Galleria Mall, Abu Dhabi Mall, Al Wahda Mall and Khalidiya Mall. Boutique Mall, on Reem Island, is also easily accessible. Supermarkets The two largest supermarket brands in Abu Dhabi are Carrefour and Lulu and both can be found located within the shopping malls. Smaller supermarkets, selling a wider range of international brands and food items, including Spinneys, Waitrose and Abella, are also available.

Banks There are many banks in Abu Dhabi, both local and international. The main international banks are HSBC and Barclays. The main UAE banks are National Bank of Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, Al Hilal Bank and First Gulf Bank. The local banks have many branches and ATMs located throughout Abu Dhabi and the international banks have one main branch, each in downtown Abu Dhabi.

Cinemas All cinemas are located within the malls and the main cinemas are Grand Cinemas, Vox Cinemas and CineRoyal Cinemas.

“ This is a very exciting and busy time for my team and I. In the next few weeks, all engineering works will be finalized and approvals will be issued to start the handover process. As the snagging process gets under way and people take possession of their new homes, we will continue to work closely with both the contractor and authorities to ensure a smooth handover process tailoring our services to meet residents’ requirements.

The final stretch to your new home in Hydra Avenue will begin with

a final settlement notice and a welcome letter from Three60 Communities, our facilities management partner.

Once the final settlement is paid to Hydra Properties LLC, an NOC will be issued to allow

you to schedule an appointment with Three60 Communities for snagging.

During your snagging appointment, you will be able to visit and survey your apartment. Be

diligent about your survey, and point out inconsistencies or any cracks or functional problems with your apartment, so that

we can resolve them before the final handover.

Once the snagging is done, the final contents of the handover discussion with Three60

Communities and the transfer of water, electricity and cooling will take place.

At this stage your keys will be issued and handed over with the welcome kit.

Congratulations! You will soon be ready to take possession of your new home in Hydra Avenue.

Hydra Village is going green in a big way with the introduction of a Green Heart in its outdoor community play area. Green Heart has six gym stations, all of which are family-friendly and meet public health standards. It also serves as a wonderful tool to encourage community members to stay fit and work out.

The Green Heart is just one of the many steps that Hydra is taking to make Hydra Village a healthy, happy and engaged community. In addition to creating a playground where children of all ages can play, have fun and enjoy themselves, we have begun the rollout of our community landscaping. The move brings some welcome greenery to the community. The long-term plan is to create a pedestrian-friendly community, where families can spend time outdoors, and children can play in the community gardens and outdoor playgrounds.

We’d like to thank owners and residents for their patience as we continue to develop Hydra Village, making it the perfect place to call home.

All owners / residents of properties in Hydra Village are requested to renew their annual service charges with Khidmah Property and Facility Management to ensure uninterrupted servicing of your home as well as the communal areas around it.
