Hello Everyone! I hope you all had a joyous
holiday season!
The Life Enrichment Team is working hard on making sure 2019 is our best year yet! We have lots of exciting things planned for the year ahead so make sure to keep an eye on those calendars!

David R Harper: Zodiac
Toronto-born artist David R. Harper presents a museum-wide installation inspired by the twelve signs of the zodiac. This original work was commissioned as part of New + Now, an annual celebration of emerging artists and contemporary ceramics, nationally and internationally. Seniors: $15.00.

Manolo Blahnik: The Art of Shoes
The Bata Shoe Museum is excited to present the highly anticipated travelling exhibition MANOLO BLAHNIK: THE ART OF SHOES, a stunning retrospective by one of the world’s most influential figures within the fashion industry. The underlying theme of the exhibition – that shoes are art – aligns perfectly with Blahnik’s own approach to creating footwear. The BSM is excited to be the final and only North American venue to showcase this travelling exhibition.

The longest-running and most prestigious nature photography competition in the world returns to the ROM for the sixth year in a row. Whether you’re a nature lover, aspiring photographer, or simply love a perfectly captured moment, you will appreciate the talent and technical expertise required to photograph such rare and surprising glimpses of the diverse life on this planet. New for 2018-19: Every photo tells a story. Explore the story behind one finalist’s photograph as you enter the underwater world of a coral reef. Adult Tickets price: $20.00 admission. Tickets range from $14.00-$20.00.

Toronto International Boat Show
With over 250 workshops and seminars, the world’s largest indoor lake and, of course, beautiful boats of all sizes and types, this is the place to be to shake off the January doldrums. Highlights’ of the 2018 event include the Yamaha Fish Off (new this year); celebrity guest Brenda Lowe from the reality show “Survivor: Nicaragua”; and for the kids, Twiggy the Water-Skiing Squirrel.

Toronto Light Festival
Lighting up the long winter nights with distinctive works from local and international light artists, the Toronto Light Festival illuminates the Distillery Historic District from January to March. Visitors are taken on a visual journey as the festival transforms the picturesque historic neighbourhood into a large open-air gallery. Rose: A New Musical
Meet Rose, a quiet kid from the town of Somewhere, who sees the world a little differently. Volunteers at Wellesley Central Place can spend time with
your loved one while engaging in various leisure activities
such as outdoor strolls in the backyard or courtyard, a
visit to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, a trip to the library
or coffee shop, reading and reminiscing.
If you would like to sign your loved one up for 1:1
