Open Swim Independent time to swim, water walk, utilize aqua joggers, follow instructional exercise booklets or use the spa. Supervised by a lifeguard.
Total Body Movement Exercise Class 30-minute aqua class consisting of joint friendly exercises recommended by the Arthritis Foundation. This class guides you to move all of your joints, relax your muscles, increase flexibility and reduce pain.
Express Aqua Aerobics 30-minute intermediate/advanced aqua class. This class includes joint friendly cardiovascular activity, muscle strengthening exercises and stretching for increased flexibility.
Aqua with Donna 45-minute energetic full body water workout. This class includes cardio, strength training, and balance with “Beach Music” back ground and an occasional surprise!!
Cardio Boxing 45-minute class features a mix of punch sequences and lower body movements designed to build stamina and improve coordination and balance.
Cardiovascular & Strength Class Advanced 45-minute class beginning with standing low impact aerobics followed by seated and/or standing muscle strengthening exercises. Equipment used may include hand weights, bands, mats or balls.
Chair Stretch & Flow Class for all experience levels. This class incorporates flexibility, balance & muscular strength exercises as well as yoga poses performed while seated and standing. Modifications will be provided.
Chair Yoga A 45 minute class for beginners to advanced participants. This class is designed to increase breathing, flexibility, and balance by combining modified yoga poses while seated in a chair and standing poses for balance. Everything is optional and modifications will be provided.
Mat Pilates 45-minute class designed to increase strength, endurance and flexibility with an emphasis on posture and breathing.
Mat Yoga (Taught by a Guest Instructor and has a fee of $5/class) 1-hour class is designed to increase flexibility, balance and muscular strength. Traditional yoga poses taught on the floor and standing with modifications provided. Wednesday’s class includes the use of straps and blocks for support and modifications.
Seated Ab & Posture 30- minute seated class includes core strengthening and stretching to improve or maintain posture.
Seated Strength and Stretch Class 30-minute class taught with a short optional standing portion. This class will strengthen & stretch all of your major muscle groups. Equipment used may include hand weights, bands or balls.
Standing Strength, Stretch & Balance Class 30-minute class designed to strengthen & stretch all major muscle groups while improving balance and functional fitness.
Strength & Balance Plus 45-minute class includes a 15-minute cardio warmup followed by dynamic muscle stretching and balance training exercises.
Tabata 45 45 minute standing interval fitness class that incorporates strength, cardio, balance and endurance. Structured for 20 seconds of work, 10 seconds of an active rest.
Tai Chi (Resident Led) 45-minute class is a standing Tai Chi form created to improve balance and much more.
Stars () denote intensity level of class. The more stars () the more advanced the class.
All Land and Aquatic Group Exercise Classes include exercises that research has proven to improve or maintain balance and brain health.

Tuesday, December 31: The Wellness Center will run on a regular Tuesday schedule
Wednesday, January 1: The Wellness Center pool will be closed and all exercise classes will be canceled. The exercise room will remain open for unsupervised use.
