Celebrate Heritage Week and our centennial with a self-guided tour of 10 local heritage homes. These homes represent the development of Port Moody’s neighbourhoods over the years. Join the City in celebrating the anniversary of Port Moody’s inaugural Council meeting of April 7, 1913. Mayor and Council take us back 100 years in a re-enactment of that meeting, including period costumes, heritage vehicles and debate on 100-year old bylaws.

Travel back with us to Port Moody in the 1913s and enjoy historical re-enactments, art and artifacts, music, high tea and a Victorian photo booth. Historic dress is welcomed.

The Centennial Wall Hanging is a community driven project involving over 100 volunteers stitching artist designs to bring Port Moody history to life. The piece is on display in the Civic Centre Galleria between February 20 to March 1 from 2-4pm daily. Stop by and contribute a stitch or two.
