Kiwanis News The year is flying by very fast and winter is upon us. As we reflect on
the past year, we are thankful to belong to a great organization that serves children. I am excited for the upcoming year in Kiwanis and the positive things we are planning for the children of Taney County. Our pancake breakfast was, once again, a success. I would like to thank each member for planning, working and giving of their time to provide Christmas for many children.
I would like to thank each member for continuing to make a differ-ence in children’s lives. We need to reach out to tell our story to others that might join us in serving. I look forward to 2019 and the joy it will provide for our club.

Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast
On Saturday, December 1, we held our Pancake Breakfast at McFarlain’s Family Restaurant located inside the IMAX Entertainment Complex. We served 97 people including 92 adults and 5
children age 4 & under. We raised over $1,000 and used it to adopt families for Christmas.

Our club packed food into backpacks for Branson Schools on Tuesday, November 27, 2018.

New FlagWith our new location at Pizza Ranch, we had been missing a flag to do the Pledge of Allegiance to each week. Steve Smith helped us out with an American Flag we could display on

Adopt-A-Street Trash Pickup
On October 30th, club members
picked up trash along Branson Hills Parkway
where we have adopted the road.

Ringing the Bell for Salvation ArmyOn Tuesday, November 13th we rang the bell at Dick’s 5 & 10.
We collected over $300 for The Salvation Army!
