This annual dance competition will feature the worksof more than 500 school pupils from across Stirling,Falkirk and Clackmannan and provides youngpeople with the opportunity to choreograph routines,rehearse as a team and showcase the results inperformances on the night. Performances on 1March feature junior dancers (S1-S3), whereassenior dancers (S4-S6) will take to the stage on2 March.

MYTHS AND LEGENDS (JUNIOR SHOWCASE)
This final collaboration between Rodgers &Hammerstein is one of the worldʼs most belovedmusicals. When a postulant proves too high-spiritedfor the religious life, she is dispatched to serve asgoverness for the seven children of a widowed navalCaptain. Her growing rapport with the youngsters,coupled with her generosity of spirit, graduallycaptures the heart of the stern Captain and theymarry. Upon returning from their honeymoon theydiscover that Austria has been invaded by the Nazis,who demand the Captainʼs immediate service intheir navy. The familyʼs narrow escape over themountains to Switzerland on the eve of World War IIprovides one of the most thrilling and inspirationalfinales ever presented in the theatre.
